So, did the juice "finish" so to speak? Humor aside, did it work? Mike's experimentation indicates that it is more heat than cavitation that ages the juice.

Actually, Mike went on to conduct more controlled tests. He made one batch of juice, put 1/3 in a crock pot, 1/3 in an ultrasonic, and left 1/3 alone. Then he sent a set of samples (blindly marked A, B, and C.) to me, Danny45, and Rocketpuppy - each in a different part of the USA for our testing. We did our tasting/testing and sent these samples on to another person.
The testers
all picked the ultrasonic as the best. Closely behind was the crock pot brew. The unsteeped sample was third in every case and obviously different.
There is little difference (we found) between the UC and the CP steeping. Both had a very noticeable effect on the juice.
