HAHA! To funny...... and MAX, that mix you made last nite,.... have you tried it yet??? I don't have any honeysuckle..I didn't have some of them either, until this Flue Cured thing got started!

Sounds yummy! BASSTHUMPER!, ha! I know , I know. For a few weeks now I have gone through more flavorings than what I actually vape

Last night's mix:
vaping it now. Kinda fruity. Kinda good, tastes like... hmm... mango and honeydew melon with a light tobacco background. A little floral but not perfumey, soft and mild. I would make this again but add raspberry, lemon and a little sweetener.
But for Honey Flue Cured... there's too much EM, too much honeysuckle, not enough tobacco or honey.
I have maybe 0.7mL each of agedVirginia 7 Leaves and Perique left. Should be enough to make a 2mL batch. I'll cut the EM and honeysuckle percentages in half and increase the honey a bit.
Here's what I ended up with:
46.8% 7 Leaves, 10%
35.7% Perique Black, 7%
11.0% PA Honey
4.9% PA Cotton Candy (oops...)
1.6% PA Honeysuckle

The new mix is pretty good, but I wish I'd been more careful with the Cotton Candy... the vape has a bit of "cooked fruit" taste.
Hard to tell about the honeysuckle part, seems like the EM is masking it.
The Perique Black is noticeable on exhale. Nice tobacco flavor.
The honey is not as strong as I would expect.
Still, seems like progress. Getting closer.

Last night I made my all day vape and didn't know it till this morning Now I'm completely out of honey flavoring Honestly, in mixing I usually start small on the percentages of the flavoring to find that flavor and then go big.... This time I just went big!! and MaxUt, your always going big so I thank you for all the effort you have put into thisHere's the mix I have been vaping all day and will be tomorrow and the next .........for now.
In a 80%/20% VG / Distilled water Base.. I made this HFC in a "10mil bottle"
1.75mil or 15% Flavor Apprentice Honey
1 drop sweetener / ethyl maltol
5 drops Flavour Art Desert Ship
2 drops Flavour Art Perique Black
2 drops Flavour Art 7Leaves Ultimate
I had warmed it up "not boiling" for about ten minutes and then let it steep all night.
This is the best and closest one yet .imo. A very nice tobacco / honey flavor with a strong inhale and exhale throat hit!
It's going to be hard to do but I'm putting aside 3mil of this blend for steeping purposes for a week to see how much the flavor changes if any. Right now I don't really wanna vape anything else!

I've got about 3mL of your recipe left, that I made last Saturday. The smell is closer to HFC than anything I've made so far, which is a good sign. This version didn't have any sweetener, unlike the one you just made. I'm letting it steep to see how the taste will change.
I think we'll get to the point where we're adding very small amounts of other flavorings to get the taste we're searching for. Member silkakc said she added a little Bavarian Creme and sweetener to her recipes to give them richness, 4 drops of each per 6mL recipe as I recall. I'm going to try 1 drop of BC per 3mL and see what it does.
My problem at this point is, I've run out of steeped tobacco liquids except for Latakia. I have more made up but it's going to be a while before they're mellowed.

Bah! Those stupid pills usually work in reverse for me. Besides watching the Taste Race is pretty entertaining even if you're not binding up your digestive tract.
Well, as far as the First Annual ECF Taste Race goes, I think DM is a lap ahead.

Switched, I've only gotten the Seedman's Commercial and I wasn't impressed with its strength (or taste, for that matter) so I haven't investigated further. I have read that the Honey is very good though, and intended to try some but haven't ordered again from Blue Mist, where I got the Commercial.
With regard to the perfume aroma: guess the honeysuckle has to go. Too much of a floral quality from it, even at a low percentage.
Mayasveil was kind enough to send me some Inawera Tobacco Canadian Type flavouring, and I'm very interested in trying this next, both in the Honey Flue Cure attempts and as a straight tobacco liquid.

Hey DM, no I haven't tried those Flavor West flavors. Too many people said that FW flavors had a soapy taste, so I never ordered.
I discovered an old bottle of honey flavoring which was a freebie from ecigsmokestore as I recall. Never used any, but now I wonder if it would be worth a try. Smells good.

I can't take those. I was TERRIBLY addicted to them and had to enter treatment for it. I know what you're going through. Its some of the most miserable crap I've ever gone through.... I hope for the best for you!
Thanks Bassthumper, I'm doing okay. It was just some minor surgery and now advil takes the edge off.
