Is that normal? I take a long drag to get a good TH and Vapor Production and when im done, the led stays on for a few more seconds afterwards.

Also, after a few drags the carto gets hot.. So i cant really vape how i smoke an analog cig.. I have to wait like a min because I dont want it to get too hot and dry up the juice (which i believe is the reason im low on cartoz)..

Any input for experienced V4L Ultimate Ultimatum e-cig users would help..

These need to be puffed soft(slowww)AND looong, and you will be PERFECT. Vaping is NOT smoking cigarettes, but, it is well worth the extra effort. Please try it, and let us know

ok.. will do.. but even if I only take one slow but long drag, the led stays on.. Im just wondering if that is normal and is it draining my battery?

Also, since I got your attention (LOL), my LED is green and everyone cracks up when I vape (friends & family)... do you guys have any blue or Red Like a real cig cherry color in stock? Im going to see mark on Wed for a big order & pick up because my brother and sister are both buying kits and carts.. so I just wanna prepare a nice email asking him to prepare some products if he even gets a chance to..

Hmm. That's the thing about e-cigs, I think. They're relatively new and novel and they're going to get attention. Attention comes in so many forms. And I guess it depends on where you fall in the introversion extroversion scale or what your mood is. But really... your friends. Are they really laughing *at* you? Like... really? My fiancee gets a real kick out of watching me vape but it's a positive amusement. I dunno. Me personally... I just love this whole vaping thing already and have way too much enthusiasm for it. Maybe a day will come when I will say, "Dude. Stop staring at my LED." But it hasn't come yet.

Come to think of it, I haven't had the experience of the seething passive-aggressive vape-in-silence yet. Those were my gigs of deepest smoking entitlement. lol

I think the red tips are the ultimate in poseur ecigs. It's kinda like the Morningstar bacon, i guess, it's really nice that it looks like bacon. ;)

Teasing of course since I would never sincerely critique your preference for blue or red leds. I just want you to be proooooowd of your ecig, man. Those guys, they're jealous. ;)

My auto does the same thing, stays on for a couple seconds after I've taken a drag if I don't hit the cutoff, though most of mine are long slow double drags so it's the second cutoff I usually fall short of! My guess is the switch just takes a second to reset, it doesn't seem to hurt a thing.

I want PURPLE LED! On a bright shiny chrome battery pls!

I want an ultra violet led. and an infra red one. infra red in chrome, ultra violet in matte black.

Aso fot teh battery staying on, it's possible you got a little vapour blown into the battery, or a little juice leakage, it sounds like the auto switch is getting stuck on. When it stays on after you stop drawing air through this causes fast overheats and shortens carto life, which is doubly bad.
You can clean the battery, I don't know a link to a thread for that, but I'm sure someone does, or you can take longer draws (ie, draw to the cutoff) which Is wha tI do - these draws need to be slower than your current draws so your lungs can take it all in (but they're also so much more satisfying imho) - You will, however, be generating almost the same amount of heat, which means either more time between draws, or as many of us here do, get 2 batteries/PTs with a cart on each, and alternate them.

If you like the shorter draw, then you'll have to clean out the battery/pt and hope you can get that to work. Unfortunately there's no other way around it. And hopefully on your next batt you won't get leakage into it.
This is also why I try to get manuals more than autos (although I like both) as while buttons will sometimes get sticky on a manual, you can't leak into them.

But if you get manuals because you have some leaky overfills, then remember to clean the threads/top of battery out whenever it gets gunky, as that will interfere with the current path, adding an alternate path for some of the voltage, and lower the power of your vaping/run batts down faster (and can be bad on rechargers also)

I have a XL auto battery that stays lit longer than my standard or shorties, and seems to overheat the carts, so I take a long draw and unscrew the cart enough to prevent the overheating. Screw it tight and draw again.

Sort of a pain, but I really love my XL and will do this if I'm just sitting watching TV. If I don't unscrew the cart, I hear alot of sizzling until the led blinks once and goes off.

I think I probably damaged this battery somehow, as I have to blow in before I draw. So it's definitely malfunctioning on a few levels.

I'm going to try cleaning the battery, thanks for that advice.

When I started vaping I did not vape like I used to smoke. I would only vape when I got a craving for a cig and a few minutes later the craving would go away.

I am now addicted to flavors..lol. So what I do is rotate between 8 cartos and top them off every few days. Also by doing this the carto doesn't have a chance to get hot.

The LED should quickly dim until it completely goes out after you vape. If it is staying stuck on then just request another battery.

You could become a power vapor like me and have 25/30 carto's open at all times. This way you can take a couple of drags and switch. When im in the mood for the same flavor i just open 4 carto's , put em all on my batteries and vape away. Cheers...wait, happy vapes is it?

Why would you want an LED you can't see? It's not like it'd be bright enough or stay on long enough to use it to look at your black light posters. :D
Well, ultraviolet as in black light, it's still visible, especially in the dark, where it would look particularly neat. I don't have any black light posters :( but I know how infra red and ultraviolet look together in the dark, and if I'm not going to be able to see the led properly anyway, having it be a neat 'colour' would be great. In any event you could still use it to see club stamps, check money, etc :p doesn't need to be bright for that.
