Yes, I think it is time for everyone to sit back, relax, and get a grip on reality....

The Zenfidels who already own a Zen APV did not get one in the same second they set their heart on owning a Zenesis. They waited for 2+ months on average before the first Zens actually appeared on the scene. They were repeatedly warned by Zen to have patience, not to get antsy, and that the ownership of a Zen APV would happen at the soonest possible moment that it was feasible.

That mindset is still the number one thing a Zenesis owner needs. Zen is much closer to having the stock necessary to satisfy everyone's craving to buy a Zenesis, but unforeseen circumstances have slowed the process to get those APVs in the hands of new owners.

These circumstances are beyond his control and have popped up at the most inconvenient time. Rest assured that Zen is doing everything that is humanly possible to resolve these issues as quickly as possible so that you will be able to purchase the APV you desire. Driving him crazy will not help.

Sit back and relax for a while. Lack of patience, pestering, begging, and thousands of PMs will not speed up the resolution of the setbacks Zen has experienced lately.

The Number One requirement to be a Zenfidel is PATIENCE.

Thanks for the info. I have been here a while and done just that. In fact my Standard was the only one sold by Zen on the 7th, and its due to be here on Friday. I consider myself very lucky and would never show my tail end in this thread. I am in tune. In fact I live here and try my best to mind what I say.

What I ment by my post was that not many people consider that point of view, but it lives in a lot of us ex smokers. From my exp I can say that every time I tried cold turkey my wife was happy till the withdraw kicked in. Then she was buying me packs. I realize that not everyone is like me, and if so we would see a lot more people that flew off the handle on a daily that where not in tune with the thread.

Even if you think that nic is subed and people should all be okay its not that easy for some. Point with that is that everything else we kicked cold will, or can still kick us back at times. When I asked someone that quit, how long they had cravings, they most generally said they still did even years later. I thought it was pointless to quit cold when I first heard that.

Okay, first, Zen's apology literally made me cry and I use the word literally properly, not in a weird hyperbole way that some use that negates the meaning of the word! Perhaps I'm just feeling emotional today but that was an amazingly kind thing to do. I too felt that there was a language barrier going on with ASH last night.

Second, I apologize if anything I said added fuel to the fire last night.

Third, anybody who had the nerve to PM Zen~ and make any kind of demand needs to @$%& @#$% right off! Seriously? Post 20000 is post 20000 no matter what ECF might have briefly shown... the system got confused! Multiple people posted at the same time! Nothing can change which post is actually 20000 - it's a solid number. Can't be changed. And aside from that, what makes anybody think they have the right to demand anything from Zen? He was kind and made a kind gesture by offering to GIVE AWAY a prize. Who are you to question anything? What happened to grace, kindness, basic human consideration? I am absolutely appalled that people felt it was okay to PM Zen at all after he's asked repeatedly to not be bombarded with PM's let alone PM him to demand something they have no right to. Zen went above and beyond when he offered two prizes - he didn't have to do that but he did so that somebody wouldn't feel the disappointment of thinking they'd won only to find that there was an error on ECF. That was kind. The man is *^%#@! kind people. And his kindness is met with petty, selfish, self entitled GREED??? WTF? It makes me ashamed to be associated with some of the people here. You're all lucky that Zen is a kind and generous soul - trust me, he makes an excellent product and everybody who wants one will love it but with the amount of absolute *#@! he's been putting up with, I'm worried he'll be driven to give up the entire thing and that would be a shame for everybody. Chill the !@#$%* out FFS! You're not entitled to anything. Zen is not required to bend over backwards to make sure that your every question is answered promptly via PM when you could easily look at the FAQ or thread for answers. He is not required nor should he be expected to justify his solution to an ECF glitch during an impromptu contest!

I have got to second all of that. I'm so grateful that Zen is making these PVs and has made them available to us. So far, everything I've seen of Zen, I have so much appreciation and confidence in him that I would easily send him the money in advance without even a shread of doubt that he would follow through. Zen has already said before that he isnt making much of a profit on doing all of this. I feel everyone should be treating him in the highest regard from this point forward.. after all, he does reserve the right to deny service to anyone he so choses. For Zens sake I hope that the Zenesis becomes the all-time best seller and eventually becomes a very profitable venture. Ok, back to my corner I go....

I had a job to do today, but when I went to bed last night it bothered me a little about what happened to you. I got on the computer this afternoon to reread what happened and was thinking about pming Zen~ (possibly risking banishment). Luckily I caught up with the thread first and see that it has all been worked out.

Oh yeah, by the way Zen thanks for the Youtube video on making coils! I seen it last night and with your help I was able to make a proper coil for my Genesis LV and now it smokes like never before. I need to make due until I can get my hands on one of your PVs.. and man I cant wait!! Thanks to everybody here too. Reading all of your posts have helped me more than you could possibly know...

Nic withdrawal can make people behave badly... In fact it amplifies feelings... If you are a little testy on Nic, you become EXTREMELY testy without it...

I don't think we can blame lack of nicotine for greed, and I have seen a LOT of it as well as other nasty behaviors on eCig forums in general.
