I worried about the same thing until I got a Orion V2 and realized that lack of a free draw on a genesis style atty results in poor vapor production, I didn't want to mod that one as the tank was too small for me anyway so I sold it and then my Katana V2 arrived and I drilled it out to 1.5mm and the vapor production was great and I quickly got used to a light draw.
Unfortunately I traded it away thinking my Standard would arrive any day lol so now I'm back to my Ody and I'm finding myself disliking the tighter draw much to my surprise, so not only do you get used to the free draw you tend to come to prefer it
Ah ha, yea. I was so crushed when I saw the perfect coil go down. So now, I've made three and none of them perform like yesterday's. xD Oh well, just keep making them, I say. The crappy part is, the wick got a little bent so I don't know if it's creating any wicking issues. So.. I just put the kinked part into the tank had the unkinked part exposed to make my coil. >
And I'm just looking for only PG because I'm just gonna use it to check my coils. >.<;;
Id say it should be fine as long as the juice has a path. I want a 3 wrap but not really wanting to venture into it just yet. Still have a lot of break in time.
i run 400 ss mesh for 100% vg and have never had any wicking issues,i think if you just follow the basics and make a good setup of wick n coil, your good. i have also read from ua72riddle m lorderos33, they state the same thing
I think my issue is that I am pulling too hard and not giving the coils the burn time they need to really kick my nuts. I know what you mean about having to sell something sooner then you should have. My Provari went in the mail box 4 days ago and I have been stuck with a MINI. Got that little sucker going pretty good though. Just the same old, vape and charge deal. I made this in a pinch but was only able to use it till the battery's died cause I didnt have a charger yet.

till your wick gets good n broke indont fill the tank past 75% the air inside helps prevent vacuum locks. once its broke in doesnt matter after that. and as far as the draw, just experiment. everyones taste is subjective so a light or airy draw is somthing that over time you will find what u like n dislike. glad u got your zenisis. even with all mike has going on its nice to see even the smallest details like sentimental attachment to a number isnt overlooked.

oops Didnt see this. I am just going to vape it and see. Its hard to take a 10second draw with it when I pull like its anything else I tried. It ends up being more like one second and I just need to draw with less force. I will get it. Thanks for the advice. I still might get that cap just not giving up on what would probably be the best once I learn it.

remember these like most genisis style setups are simple after awhile. and you can fiddle and put in lots of time attempting to roll "perfect" coils if you want to fiddle. but its really not a requirement. give it time to break in and some of these sub-par setups will surprise you. id be embarresed to show you the coil im vaping on but once i put the cap on and start blowing clouds no one notices whats under the hood.
There is a way to try it with a stiff draw before dropping the cash on a new top. Use some tape and block part of the hole with it.
Yellowman, did you see that tyb, Fillibuster and myself are planning a small coffee and vape get together once we all have our Zen vapes. I just noticed that you are also one in the PNW and thought maybe you might like to come as well. We will be meeting under the Arch at Peace Arch Park.

i would love to...heres the catch, i work swing shift usually 6 or 7 pm - 2 or 3 am. i am off sundays n mondays. i can do anytime either of those dates. i have really hoped to see some more meets up here in the pnw but they are few and far between. thanks so much for the invite and i really really hope i can make it. been rubbin cyber shoulders in many a thread with tiff for the better part of 2 years and we have never met.

Same here, I smoked a pack and a half a day for over 32 years. I started at 11...thought I was so cool, and then I was hooked. I tried everything over the years to quit too. Zyban is nasty, and Champix is worse. I could not be hypnotized, and acupuncture did nothing, gum, patches, etc....garbage. But the day my e cig showed up was the last day I ever smoked. I had 1 ciggie an hour before bed that night and that was it! It will be 2 years for me on August 5th. Sure feels good doesn't it?
