Yeah, me too. Started listening to his stories when I was a kid, because my grandmother loved them. Talk radio will never be the same....
Well, here's some happy news....
I'm finally caught up on Mother's Day orders, which were still coming in yesterday would you believe.
So I can now spend some time trying to catch up on my threads.
Also, I think I'm on my third coil/wick. Only changed the wick to go to the 325, then had to change that 'cause I messed it up trying to change the coil.
Here I thought all this time I was doing it ok, not perfect, but ok.
But I was still getting some harsh hits, and thought maybe the higher VG was making me cough.
Well, I was looking close at my coil last night.... with my tired old eyes, and depending on the light I was in it was either glowing evenly or one was a slightly brighter.
Nudged them around some. Nudged a little more, and lo and behold, not a single cough or harsh hit today.
Still have to do the occasional tilt, but the difference is like night and day.
And I had read thousands of times to nudge them, but thought mine was doing ok.
Anyone having the slightest trouble with harshness nudge those wires!
Who'd a thunk it? LOL
I really didn't think a very slight brighter glow would make that much of a difference.
Off to catch up now.

Well....I picked up some gifts for family and friends. Had one bag that had a gift for kcos along with a couple of expensive gifts for my wife and daughter (custom name painted chinese fans with display stands, and a jade charm and necklace for Karen)...and another bag with a Shenzhen cup from Starbucks for my wife (I bring back one from everywhere I go for her).
After a 15 hour flight, I stopped at the restroom right before getting in line for customs, which was a mile long. I set everything down right behind me while doing my business. After the relief set in...I turned to gather my things....AND BOTH BAGS WERE GONE!!
I can't believe in the short time I had my back turned....someone took only the two gift bags and were gone. I have been so upset about it, and the airline isn't willing to do anything about it! It was the one thing my 9yr old asked for, and took me forever to find. They got almost $300 worth of merchandise....which isn't much, but when you are talking about Chinese hand fans...that's pretty expensive.
And here I was thinking the Asian culture was all about honor....guess every culture has their slugs and rifraf....just never would have thought it would cross my path in the airport coming off the same flight I was on.

There is nothing worse than getting ripped off. It is a terrible feeling for sure.

Hey Ob... i just had a thought. it is so Zen to put "Ob Zen Kan Ob" and the "sith lord" together, as a team, to keep an eye on things in his absence. no wonder the Zenfidels are all a little goofy. our leader is constantly challenging our reality...

The people who say you are not facing reality actually mean that you are not facing their idea of reality. Reality is above all else a variable. With a firm enough commitment, you can sometimes create a reality which did not exist before.... just sayin' ... and I'm no longer behind the couch... I'm between the baby grand and the juice bar... right behind ripples "garden"
sniffing super glue also creates a different reality, very surreal but hard on your kidneys
