ob - I am going to have to watch the video late tonight. I have a hearing problem as it is, and trying to filter out the background noise, and focus on the conversation was killing me.
I will have to play with an audio program. :)

I watched it on my desktop and then on my iPad and I will say it was much easier to hear on my iPad (with noise canceling headphones of course). It was much clearer.

High end tanks? I don't get it. How does one spend $1000 dollars on tanks and drip tips? It is unconscionable that someone would use this as a measure of experience or comeuppance.

Wow. I just watched the interview. Zen is such a genuine person. My wife, sitting next to me, who also vapes, but never pays attention to vaping videos that I watch, was looking over my shoulder the whole time thoroughly impressed with Zen's presence.

And what an amazing device...so well thought out. It is pure logic. I so look forward to owning one when they go live on the site. I am a little scared in that I have well over $1000 in high-end tanks and drip tips and recently purchased a buttload of cartos from HC. At least my army of Provaris won't go to waste.

What a great community as well. I really enjoy hanging out here, though I don't post too much here. I'm sure that will change once I have the Holy Grail. I guess my wife can still use the carto/tank until the next run when I can purchase a second, but I understand the limit of one per household for now. Just kidding we share well as we did when we went from egos to Provari and just had one. Great interview Zen. Thank you for your contribution to this industry.

I want to hang out without the cameras on and see what " real fun" is :)

It also includes a few difficult to explain drinking games culminating in a delicately orchestrated, mob mentally fueled round of "pin the tail on the new guy". So, Ob, when you coming to visit us??

If I were in your neck of the woods...I would be out on the golf course walking it for you. I'm so sorry.

Do you want to borrow my Standard until you get your Ti? PM if you do and I'll send it off to you. I'm serious. I have my Mini I can use while you have the Standard. Just let me know.

Awww...I couldn't do that, ill get the Ti soon.. I hope (I prepaid so um...lol).......

Plus I haven't given up hope. I'm like a proud parent...I put a reward up at the pro shop and with the head maintenance guy..my baby can make it two nights in the wild you just find him....

Guess I'll show my face looking for it again and double the reward to find it, regardless of condition....I mean if it got hit with a mower they'd know it, it's a healthy piece o metal

Ps...I just saw on YouTube a new vid of pbusardo with a thumbnail of zen.....zen did a great job covering the FAQ and updating people on everything in on vid!!

A collector. Phiniacs run $50. Got 20. My wife and I like to vape several juices throughout the day. We keep the tanks filled and switch when desired. Trippy Tips are $30 a throw. I got 30. Sounds like about $2K. Not sure what you mean as a measure of experience. It is what we found works for us in our vaping lifestyle. Nor was it a self deprecating statement. It is where we landed in this hobby. Now my projection, as ascertained from other who have reported to thrown away carto/tanks after trying a Zen, is that my collection will have stayed its useful life.

Off topic I know, but what the hell is the fascination with Trippy Tips? I think they're freakin ugly. lol I had to get that off my chest.

I truly have no appreciation for them.

So finally watched the whole video.

Here is what stuck with me.

Stick out my thumb and pulled out a plum.

In my shop, I have a sign that says "sitpop engineering not welcome here"... sitpop is "Stick In Thumb Pull Out Plum"

I want to see a X-ray of the zenesis in action so I can see what actually happens inside.

The prototypes had a clear top cap so I could see the vapor being produced and I had a way to create vacuum to simulate drawing on it so I could watch it.

Psychoanalyst? I'm watching what I say from now on.

No need... I don't like sane people which is why I never cured anybody

Which one is zen in the picture to the left of him in the background?

I'm not in that picture... the band in that picture is Howe II...guitar shredders will understand who that is... I played a show with him a few years ago... The thrill of a lifetime to take the stage with one of the best guitar players in the world!

I love zen talking smack. Makes me love him more than ever.

What can I say, this endeavor brings out both the best and the worst in me.

I love him shooting Phil down twice.

It was for his own good!

I want to hang out without the cameras on and see what " real fun" is :)

I am a fun guy to hang with, I think... I always suggest carrying bail money when hanging with me... it comes in handy!

Oh yeah about half of the technical stuff went right over my head. Big surprise :)

That's the whole idea...

Yes, high end tanks. There are many out there now. Think Zenesis, Katana, Orion, UFS, iAtty, Odysseus, Scubagen, Hybrid Mini, Hellfire, G-Tank, Line, Genisis Mini and Maxi, the list goes on and on. These are mostly just Genisis APVs too. There are scads of high(er) end carto and atomizer tanks out there too.

It is VERY easy to get over $1000 invested in these things if you are collecting high-end vaping gear. I don't think sedge meant that statement to be taken as a measure of experience or even bragging more than just stating a fact. If I were to count up what I had it would be more than I care to think about, lol. If I add in the money spent on materials for experiments and tools used for modding it would be a truly offensive ammount.

I don't think my experience comes from how much I spent in $$. It comes from the hours and hours spent building and testing APVs and tearing apart my high end equipment to see the true design underneath and get a deeper understanding of that the maker of the was thinking when he/she put it all together.

I'm not jumping on you either Stu, I just think you may have misunderstood what sedge was trying to convey.

If I am wrong then I'll just go back to my corner now and you can just disregard this post. :D
