I also just finished the interview and wow! The explanation of the atomizing chamber was a treat to listen to. It's a shame that the thought Zen puts into the creation of his APVs is not seen throughout the entirety of the ecig market. Secondly, the point made when discussing the creation of the ZAP in regards to aesthetics is something that has ALWAYS bothered me about most PVs. Too many parts are made without aesthetic in mind and often result in ridiculous "Frankenstein" creations that seem, to me, to be the antithesis of what a proper PV should look like.

All of that being said, now that Phil has graced his site with the Zen Master, the demand for these is going to skyrocket. I wouldn't be surprised if Zen's approximation of 150 devices sold in 16 hours during the last run will shorten to about eight hours in the next. I now feel that my luck in picking up the AYS for it's unlikely run was even greater than I could have initially imagined!

@ Zen~ Thanks for doing the interview and all that was discussed therein. It was a pleasure to hear your ideas rather than read them in the forum. When you start taking donations to make some money on these, I'll be right in line with the rest of the Zenfidels to throw some compensation your way. In the words of the "wise" Phillip J. Fry - "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!"

Bumpi, I'm so sorry to read of your (hopefully temporarily) lost Zenesis :( Zen you need to start putting a GPS locator beacon in your creations ;)
Not a bad idea! Make it a $100 upgrade. It would be well worth it in such a situation. And Bumpi, if I had a Zenesis to send to you, I would. Hopefully it will come home soon. :(

I am SO glad Mike corrected the "mAh" crap and put that to rest. I'm old school and the correct terms should be used in all cases. Thought I was the only one rolling my eyes when hearing someone say "Maa"

(I have a friend who works with medical x-ray machines - they use "mAs" - milliamps-per-second - to measure power, which they pronounce "Mass". I, on the other hand, work at a place where we build x-ray machines that operate in megavolts, terra-watts, etc.... but only for nanoseconds. We live in different universes...)

OTOH, Soooo freakin' happy that it looks like things are up and running - and most importantly, so freakin' happy that ZEN is so happy! This ecommerce thing is still in it's infancy (or, perhaps, toddlerhood), and between the scammers, paranoid "serious providers" and the Russian Mob it's crazy out there - I sympathize!!

My wife was pondering the purple (she *really likes* purple) Ming tips on the HOH site. I asked her, since the site was spinning up, if I should buy her one. She said, "No, wait until you can order the PV." I said, "Sweetie, that might be a couple MONTHS away, honestly..." She said, "That's OK". So I ordered some stuff anyway. :p

Site is easy and sweet!

I get it, you're one of those frugal types and collecting things beyond what you need is not your thing.

That's cool, I applaud your restraint.

Some other people like to collect things. I see nothing wrong with that either. Some people collect PVs as a hobby and some in the quest of the best vape, many of the Zenfidels fall into one of these categories.

You don't agree with their choice, and that's great, but it's just bad form to make snide or snarky remarks at someone because they like to collect PVs, especially in this company...

I'm just saying.

Such as spending unnecessary monies?

QUOTE=sedge;6140743]Just stating a point. Not bragging. Going through what didn't work in the beginning and spending lots of money was an experience though. BTW, comeuppance doesn't mean "come up". It means a punishment..getting your just desert for acting badly.

I ordered an 6 position xtar today. Not knowing, I sent Randy at RTD a note asking how many were needed for the 18350s. HE told me 4 (of the xtar spacers). Again... I have NO CLUE.

I may not need'em, but I ordered a .... load of'em.

Always good to have spares I guess...

Hey, at .50 cents a piece, can't have too many... Imagine how ...... you would be if you were 1 short and had to pay $5 shipping on a 50 cent item!

I'm going to go ahead and guess that you haven't figured out my name. Take a moment. Get back to me.

I'm to assume by 'cats' you refer to the flattened discs of fur at the bottom of their piles of crap? (Hoarders reference for those who may be shocked by this imagery, it actually occurred on more than one show)

Collectors are just hoarders. Scourges of humanity.

They should be eaten by all their cats. :D

I went back to course before work to look and ask a few guys...I put a reward out for it, so hopefully someone finds it...going back tomorrow and gonna try and rewalk my round, see if I see it shining at me

Make sure you walk it as you played it, not backwards... Years ago I lost something on the back nine and walked the course from the green of the 18th hole backwards to the 10th tee but it wasn't until I walked it like I played it that I remembered a "detour" my fairway shot had taken on the 16th hole & wha-la... I found what I'd lost!

Food for thought... Good luck!!

Exactly, avoid people who communicate their thoughts in such ways as:

"You're off to great start...as an a$$hole." - Trench

I'd have never said that if someone (^) didn't treat a newcomer as trash for buying what's generally considered good product.

It need not go any further. It's obvious that we don't jive.
