Ok guys I've decided that I can't do this anymore. I just don't have time for this :( I love the AYS it's awesome but I just don't think it's for me. I spend more time working on this thing than studying for school. And then I "just vaped it" since last night when you guys helped me make the new coil. I would like to talk to Zen before I sell her but he's so busy and I can't seem to get a response. I've already had 3 offers to buy her and I'm going to talk to the person who asked first. Love you guys, don't be too disappointed in me I just don't have the patience or time for this right now. Maybe after I graduate and I don't have so much weighing on my shoulders :)

Hugs, Stormie

Just my :2c:, but if you can afford to not sell it, I would keep it around for a while and give it more than sufficient time to grow on you. I was in the same boat as you shortly after I got my Darwin a while back... I hated it at first and was one move away from selling it. Now I'm SOOO glad that I din't sell it because I use it everyday and is a huge asset to have in anyone's arsenal (and I'm positive that the same could be said for the Zenesis) :)

Sorry to hear you and Tinkerbell aren't getting along Stormie. I was going to offer to meet w/ you and see what I could do, but felt it would be more like the blind leading the blind.... I don't really know what I'm doin' either, but my AYS seems to be cooperating. Like you say...... Maybe now just wasn't the time.

I agree if you can afford to keep it until a later time that would be best as you will never be able to get the AYS again.

PS: Don't want to step on any toes of the people wanting to buy this but IMO they should be helping you work it out instead of trying to buy it from you. Just my :2c:.

first ask Stromie :D

that was only a joke, love every piece of art zen makes but 18350 batteries in one mod is more than enough for me.
titanium would be nice but not under 18650, bam really nice but not under 18650.
26650 put it in a stone i ll buy it :D

but take the advice, if you don't need the cash immediatly, give it a chance. Every Genesis Type Atty needs time but when you find the right setup for you every other vaporstuff is like soup without salt.

I agree and think she will end up keeping it. I know I and others offered to help and hopefully she will figure it out. I have faith she will. From what I read the poster asking to buy it said it was in jest.

Good points guys. Genesis style atties can be tough in the beginning for us new folk. Storms, you have a HUGE cheer leading section to root you on. Most all of us continue to gain new information, and insight every day. If and when you have time to work on it, we'll be here to help you! This is more marathon than a dash, and we will help you get her singing on your time schedule. I hope you decide to stick with her, we got your back- just as I know you would have ours.

Would you be interested in shipping her off to one of our resident Zen experts and have them go through it for you? Or hows about meeting one of our experts on Skype? That could be very helpful too. I'm so sorry, hon. I'm sure you are frustrated to the gills right now. :(

Everyone has been helping me. They only offered IF I decided to sell. Not one person has been pushing me to sell it. Everyone has been great. I am doing this because I talked with my husband and I feel this is taking up too much of my time I should be devoting to studying. If I keep her she's too much temptation. I keep thinking well maybe if I try this again or that again. Then if I'm on here for hours trying everything then. It's just too much time away from studying. And trust me I know that I can never get another AYS. But he will have more and he's putting out colors and other kinds so I'm okay with that. I will come here to hang out :) And someday I will get another one hubby says I can pick from whatever he has as my graduation gift. I'm only doing this because studying comes first. My silver bullet works for me and I have been vaping the same flavor for 4 mths. So I'm very very happy. I wanted more and I tried it. I know there's a learning curve but when you're trying to learn dosage calculations and anatomy there's just no more room in your brain LOL

I found out 33 years ago that I am alergic to alcohol, so quit drinking any alcohol back then.

When I drank alcohol, I would break out in spots.

Like Chicago, Georgia, Florida.

Was drinking on Okinawa once, and woke up in Osan Korea. That was a real gaggle. LOL

RodeoGeorge

FOB lingo. I would break out too from booze ..............break out in handcuffs

Lest people forget sobero... That was a pretty amazing night, or morning I should say. I had been reading the thread for a couple of days and Zen~ had been having all kinds of problems with this, or that or the other thing. Then he posted this conversation he'd had with a real D+^K.... I, and many others I suspect, felt terrible for him. And then someone, I should remember who, but I'm afraid I don't, made the suggestion of creating the AYS special edition. That evolved into the hybrid mix of the bigger 5ml tank with the mini.

I don’t think I’m exaggerating by saying that even for a noob like me, it was a transformative experience... I could feel the mood of all involved turn and shift toward the positive.... Especially Zen’s, which in my estimation anyway, needed it the most. Seemed like he went from totally bummed to totally pumped. Very cool to be there and be a part of that…. To watch it typed out in front of my eyes was a unique experience for not being much of a forum person prior to. And probably the biggest reason I haven’t been able to put this damn thread down for more than a few hours since!

Had to bring this back because of it's sheer awesomeness and just incase anyone newer than I had missed this post :D This thread moves so fast, it's easy to overlook the gems :toast:

Not shiny, they will turn black and perform very well. They should remain clear of crust. I heat mine and rinse with cold water about once a week or as needed to maintain flavor. Doing this my coils last at least a couple of months and my wicks last close to a year.

I can't remember when the last time I needed to change a coil because it popped was. I change them when they cease to perform and a cleaning no longer brings them back, but as long as they are not broken down by shorting, coils and wicks last a very long time.
Thank you, this makes me feel better! I thought something was wrong because I'm still on the same wick and coil that it started with in Feb.! :)

I agree. The Provari has fantastic features and I will never be caught saying much bad about them (I see myself slapping a Z-atty on one of mine in the future). I just wish the Provari were a bit more sexy as plenty of devices look more appealing imho :D I'm worried that a Z-atty atop a Provari may be like beauty and the beast (Z-atty being the beauty, of course) :)
I have 2 Provari's and I think they are sexy! Of course they are chrome, my favorite color (after purple :))

I'm all excited now waiting for payment notice for my ZAP! :):):)

Stormy, I am sure if you send it to a pro, like Lorderos he can set it up for you to work and be happy with it, get your trust back and enjoy the great vape.....

Come on Stormie, don't give up so quickly! Great things come to those who persist to achieve.

A distant part of me wishes I had PM'd you with interest, but a closer part knew it wasn't right (at least not for me) to try to take advantage of your struggles.

You have been a big part of this family (and you will always be part, with or without your AYS) and you waited a long time to get your AYS. Take some time, think it over, don't rush to a decision.

In the end, do what is right for you, but be SURE the decision you make is what is RIGHT for you.

Hugz......

no, you can use it for weeks and when you are less busy give it a go, you will grasp it, I can and I am not a person with a lot of patience. My first genesys it took me at least 30 coils and wicks!!!! to finally get it to work...never give up!

Yeah but what about when it goes out and needs replacing? Send it out again and again? LOL

Nope, then you get a 1 on 1 Skype session for help rolling your new one :D I'm sure someone would be willing to step up and help out! I would, but I'm so new I was shaking like a leaf swapping mine out lol
