Hey, lets talk about my PM inbox, shall we?

I get about 250-400 PMs PER DAY from this and other threads

Jee..., I know your not kidding but that is preposterous

Ummm... if it's a Mini Mini it's a LillipuZen!

Translation: It Vapes "OK"... you guys deserve better... and as I said... the battery IS the PV... Lackluster battery performance will ALWAYS produce less than adequate PV performance.

LillipuZen it is ;)

Maybe 16340s...

Um, that is entirely TOO many pm's to receive for anyone.

although I admit when first reading that my first gut response is that I just want to send Zen a bunch of pm's :)

I am not going to of course, but that was my first response. This is because I am a brat and a smart alec.

do not worry zen, not going to happen. In fact, you have probably noticed that I have been pming less as I am trying to just be a patient little ob. That and I have been reading tons of books on ADHD which is helping my cause :)

I haven't actually named it formerly, because I haven't decided for sure if I'm going to produce it in its current form... The Battery life on the prototype is ls pretty short, I haven't found a suitable IMR battery yet and the price point is a challenge. I don't want to sell exploding lipstick tubes and I want it to vape like a Zenesis... I've been pretty close to sending the Prototype out to a specific Zenfidel that is already expecting it, but I'm on the edge of even doing that... I'm also on the verge of scrapping the whole idea and starting from scratch... again... for a Tiny price point related PV.

AW IMR 14500 batteries last 3-4 hours and are small. :)

Maybe us Zenfidels should pick up our came answering those questions? But I thought OB and guys we´re doing a adequate job...

Everybody is doing a great job! We just need to get these questions that would benefit MANY out of my PM box and into the thread...

I need ONE or TWO volunteers, actually, to work together to help me out and write a FAQ for the website

AND make the FAQ a sticky at the top of this thread. Can that be done? A place for everything and everything in its place...in the sticky FAQ at the top of HOH thread.

I would be glad to help write a FAQ. Just let me know if I'm needed and can help.

Hey, lets talk about my PM inbox, shall we?

I get about 250-400 PMs PER DAY from this and other threads, and everybody expects a timely response. I do the best I can, but it takes hours per day to deal with it. Now, mind you... I would RATHER be flooded with questions than to have nobody care about what we're doing here... but I just want to point out that once the Parts are all here to get these things going, I absolutely won't have time to respond to MOST of the PMs... so I want to suggest that we take a look at the PMs that can be the MOST time consuming, and address those specifically.

Rest assured... if you HAVE A PROBLEM with your PV, USE THE PM SYSTEM! For most everything else... use the thread!

So that said, Here are a few types of PMs that are getting to be bothersome.

1: Am I on the list? The answer is... If you sent a request, you are on the list. Even if you didn't physically get placed on the list... if you sent a request, you are on the list. When the time comes to ship, I will make SURE you get what you ordered, so... if you sent a request via the WEBSITE or in PM here... you are on the list. You will get what you ordered. Even if I goofed up and didn't put you on the list. I intentionally ordered extra parts because I am human, and the worst thing that will happen is if I make no mistakes somebody from the NEXT list gets to roll early.

2: I don't know what to order... what do you suggest? The answer is... I suggest you read the thread and ask questions in the thread. The Zenfidels know the answers! They are a VITAL part of this process...

3: Are you going to make a Z-atty for the (insert your PV name here) The Answer is... Maybe... If I do make it though, I will make announcements in the thread, and if you didn't see an announcement, that's cool... but ask in the thread! If YOU want to know the answer, the odds are that EVERYBODY wants to know it! The thread is huge... yes... but it's huge because this is where we share information and have some good times as well.

4: What is the price of (insert product name here) The answer is... All prices are on the website, or ask in the thread!

In reality, about 95% of the PMs are already answered in the thread, or should be asked in the thread so EVERYBODY can see the answer. I can understand not wanting to read 4,000 + posts to find your answer! And nobody will give you a hard time if you ask instead of read... But there are dozens of folks per hour that stop by here that already know the answer so you don't have to read the whole thing! The thread ALSO has a "search thread" function which works pretty well!

So I guess what I'm saying is... Save the PMs for matters that are Private, Payment related or Service Related.... you know, things that would be inappropriate in the thread, for all other information and questions... the thread IS the best place to seek the answers.

By golly, we WILL figure out the most efficient way to run this here joint! With your help, of course.

Zen~, I have a suggestion. Why not edit the very first post in this thread and add links to the posts that answer the common questions like cost, battery recommendations, lists, pictures, etc? Then we could all direct newcomers there and that alone should cut your PM tsunami by a significant margin. Plus, we'd have an "index" of sorts for reference.

Of course, we'd all take a crack at answering any questions that aren't covered.
