Good morning Zenfidels!!

I enlisted in the Navy in '79, just a couple of months after my 17th birthday.

I've got to make a run up to Altoona this weekend. I was really hoping to have my Mini in time for the trip, but the extra few days delay will be more than worth it to get the quartz tank.

OK, I just popped a hole in my last carto. That is it. I don't have any more. I didn't order any more. I hope this one lasts until the mail man arrives with my zenesis. I wasn't impatient until now.

I'm down to my last four cartos, as of yesterday. I'm pretty confident that they will hold me over until my Zenesis arrives, but I really hate being in such a low supply state. Resisting the urge to order more, and waiting (not so) patiently til next week...

The "catapult" is actually a scale model of a Trebuchet which I built myself and it will throw rocks about 100 feet.

We built a trebuchet in my high school physics class. We used it to launch a bowling ball across a fairly large cornfield. I guess that is the definition of fun in a north east Missouri high school.

YAY! Our first 90s baby. Yep your the youngest. Made it even harder to beat, but still possible.

Two boxes shipping today Via FedEx, Expecting them tomorrow.... a Third Box ships tomorrow... Expected Monday, but that has parts needed for the MARCH Z-attys... no hold up on the PVs.

Quartz ships tomorrow Fedex for MONDAY delivery, but that's ok... it won't hold things up... the PVs will be ready to ship just waiting to slip on the tank. seal the package and Go!

We are LOOKING GOOD for shipping on Monday and Tuesday for all the PVs...

I'm already starting to get PM requests saying " I REALLY want this by next weekend, can I get fedex or priority mail?"

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR AN EXPRESS MAIL UPGRADE, or anything like that... this is a monumental task to keep all of this straight, so EVERYBODY gets the same shipping method...

The trebuchet is the first real weapon of mass destruction... As a siege weapon it was used to hurl boulders at the base of castle walls causing the walls to crumble and eventually fall.

To me, it's a reminder that humans can be very clever when it comes to destroying things, and that its such a shame that we rarely dedicate as much energy towards fixing things.

you know things have gone down the youknowwhat-er when people start analyzing your video like this.

for the love of god, please give these people something else to talk about.........

by the way for those interested, that is a pic that is a view of Portland from the Japanese gardens. The one in Portland is considered one of the best in the world.
