Afternoon peeps! We just got through a series of hefty t-storms - I was avoiding my computer (and being near windows altogether lol)

My mom's the same way...unless, of course, she's around her sons. The world revolves around THEM you know. They're perfect. Don't get me started on relatives. It puts me in a bad mood. 
My fiance's best college friend and his wife (and my matron of honor) do pit bull rescue here. Every time we go over to their house they have a new dog they're fostering, last time it was two new ones plus their own. I've been an apartment dweller my whole life and have never had dogs.. I really like them though, great animals and fun to play with when we're there.
So far, I've rescued over 100 gliders. They are vetted, illnesses and injuries are cared for, the boys get neutered, and once they are ready, most of them are adopted out (free of charge) to permanent, loving homes.
My fiance has wanted a sugar glider for years.. someone to sleep on his back during the day and play with at night. Not sure how the cats would deal with it though. We have 3 cats, the older one plays with the bearded dragon like a friend, and the lizard likes crawling on his back and taking rides. The two younger cats still think he's either food or a batting toy so they might hurt a glider if we weren't really careful.

Just experienced a slightly surreal moment...
I spent some time in the kitchen cooking while my wife was watching some old DVR recordings that we hadn't watched. As soon as I sat down to eat, there was a segment of Rock Center where Brian Williams was telling the stories of some of the worlds entertainment losses (deaths). I take a bite of my onion and portabella scramble as I hear the voice of Eduard Khil...yup, it was him. Seriously?! That was soooo strange, but it was nice to see him being humanized, though I would have preferred to have not seen the video again.

Well everyone, I spoke with my fellow Georgian crypto and sorry to say he is definately not coming back he said he was tired of the hyprocracy in here and favoritsm that gets shown.

Dude, I mean we had the surround sound on kick bass thump mode, too! I was sitting there with the food on the fork, mouth open, staring at the TV like "huh?". I was really just trying to enjoy my meal and she could not stop cracking up because I told her that she would never hear that "song" in the house again. Well...promises promises.

Yeah, I agree about the hypocrisy. I would post my thoughts but they would get deleted by a modermaster because freedom of expression doesn't exist in this thread unless its positive lol, worse than the patriot act lol
