Every piece of black ano I have ever received for my bikes, even custom wheels, have had a purplish hue in direct sunlight and the finish is very delicate. What was the finish Mike put on the black Ti mini's? Nearly every piece of black ano on my bikes was eventually powder coated. However powder coating is a thick layer and would be noticeable. Still wondering what the process Mike used on those Ti mini's, I dont think it was ano. I do think the BAM's are ano, but my be wrong there too.

BAMs are ano'd. The problem with the first finish was exactly what you mentioned abt the purple hue. Mike had to find another shop, and they did it right apparently
