You know I will just ruin the pic so I will graciously bow out!

Hopefully they are still really bad at predicting that far in advance.

I can probably bring a couple of those canvas cover thingy's if you like.

@Fisty - did you get my pm about that? I haven't heard back from you which is odd.

rat said he's gonna have a tent canopy out for shelter...not sure how big it is so you're probably better off asking him about yours...

works for me....I miss the REAL canadian labatt's and molsen's bradors we used to get here in my area years ago :(

My girlfriend actually prefers the SUV over the Corvette. I have to admit that it is more comfortable for a road trip. I may just bring it rain or shine. I couldn't even put a 6 pack in the Vette with our bags in there too.

I miss beer at all.. Tim can't drink carbonated beverages so we almost never have it in the house. I do keep plenty of good vodka though.

I replied yesterday to the message you sent yesterday, I just resent it.. if you sent me a message today I didn't receive it.

I can agree there too....ya barely have wriggle room in one, let alone trying to bring something along for the ride other than another passenger... maybe that's one of the reasons I prefer mustangs instead (unless it was a '54 bubble-top vette).... other than being a Ford fan, I still love the old chevies and mopars, but not nearly as much...at least you can put the buckets back if needed and there is a smidgeon of room in the back seat or hatch area...

it's sad that I missed it all. I arrived home from work around 11pm, sat in my chair in front of the tube with dinner, passed out shortly after i finished.... I woke up only a couple hrs ago, had a mug of java and been catching up with the thread since...almost there ;)

You can watch them again tonight. :)

I saw some pretty awesome ones, then I'd get dizzy from going round in circles spraying Raid flying insect killer and have to go inside. LOL Don't know if it was the fumes of the Raid or constant round and round but it was either that or having to have a blood transfusion. Gosh dog, the mosquitos were awful..........gallon nippers!

my favorite ride was my '84 Mustang GT...the last of the mustangs with a 4bbl carb...but then, mine was far from stock. 302 5.0 bored .020 over, forged pistons and rods, hypereutectic rings, polished and balanced crank, roller cam and rockers..HD pushrods, double chained timing...hi-rise manifold w/ dual holly carbs... flowtech shorty headers and custom 3" SS dual exhaust w/ flowmasters and 12" long 6" wide slashed tips.... racing clutch quadrant, 2 stage hypertech clutch, professionally built T-5 tranny, 9" ford rearend...and thats just the tip of the iceburg....damned car spun tires regardless how easy you were on the clutch...it wasn't easy trying to sneak by officers quietly w/o them even looking in your direction and I never romped on it anyways...I babied that car. I kick myself every day for letting my C U Next Thursday ex-wife talk me into selling it...all because I also owned a standard cab w/ sleeper off the rear window, full size bed '88 F150 XLT Lariat 4x4, 5spd. hydraulic manual tranny...yea it wasn't stock either. 6" lift, 38 x 12 all terrains sitting on 16" rims, FRP 5.0 racing block, GT40 heads and intake, 70MM throttle body, flowtech full length headers w/ 3" SS dual exhaust and flowmaster headers, 12" long 6" wide SS slash tips... that was my all season everyday driver...originally bought for my outdoor adventures (hunting, fishing and camping in out of the way areas...yea all waaaay off the road)

I had Mustang for a while.. it was okay as far as fitting stuff, it was our only car. Biggest problem was the rear wheel drive in winter in Wisconsin.
I really want a 2012 Dodge Challenger, they're just so sexy.. and plenty of room too.

edit for brain fart

...sorry, I cant stand ANY of the mopars made since the 90's and wouldnt own one if someone gave it to me. quality isnt there anymore, and the pricetags are way over the top for what you're buying :p ever since daimler took over the company, they went to cR@P and havent gotten better since daimler no longer owned 'em.......cheap parts, frames are too thin and small, all the tech stuff added in isnt that great...hell, the current chargers arent chargers....they arent supposed to have 4 doors :p the only mopars worth buying are the old ones.....mid '50s to early '70s, those were the REAL mopars.... I miss my old '68 and '73 roadrunners, the '69 GTX and even the '76 Dart GT I owned...all awesome monsters ;)

edit: back in the day, chrysler's big ideal was for the masses to be able to afford any of their babies... you could buy a hi performance muscle car for a song and get change back when chevies and fords were quite a bit higher in price....nowadays, a mustang gt deluxe base is around 25k, camaro about 28k.... both the charger and challenger bases are a bit over the 30k mark...go figure :p

That sucks! Nothing you can do to recoup your loss?

No, he's worthless. If I claim it on my insurance, my rates will just go up. He is worthless and I only let him use the truck because my mother needed to have a giant tree moved and no one else would help or could help...I don't know. The background is a looooong story that I don't even want to think about.

My truck is wrecked :( Someone borrowed it and wrecked it and now the POS won't pay, because he said he wasn't the ONLY person who drove it. Ah, don't get me started.

sorry to hear, still, I hope you get that resolved...like all things, it'll come full circle one o' these days and bite 'em right in the @$$

My 1st and only Mopar to date was a brand new 74 Challenger. I could only get the colour I wanted with a 318 in it. Drove it that way for a few months and then when my dad wasn't looking :) pulled the 318 and replaced it with a 340 6-pack :)
