Well, started to catch up and found myself seeing the type all blurry. Translation: I was so tired i could not read anyone's posts! So, I lied down and passed out for awhile.
Emonty, so happy for you! (Now we don't have to read about your MIA TI)
Kcos, very nice looking site...as soon as I have the money, will be placing an order with you.
And HEY to all the Zenfidels!

Oh, one sad note,
Tried to clean my ZAP with distilled water and ended up gooking up the coil. Does not taste good...metallic and harsh. Do I need to wrap a new coil?

Drain the tank and find the shorts again. Once done do the "drip juice and burn off 3 times" and you should be good to go again. You can do it UV!!!

If you fire it with no juice in the tank, you will be able to see if they all glow evenly. Do not stop pulsing it until they start glowing. Once they do, then work out your shorts. Also check to make sure the wick did not slip down and touch the bottom of the tank.

Katz,
Can't find the shorts cos the wick is so gunked i can't see all the wires. :(

if they're gunked up, its time for a dry burn and rinse in cold water first and get rid of it (empty tank)..may take more than once to clear it. dont rush, take your time ;) ...then you'll be able to check for the shorting ;)

doing this regularly will keep your wick and coil fresh and no need to change until they start to deteriorate or coil pops on you...

the wick in my SS standard is now over 6 months old (325 wick replaced the 400, first day home)....the coil on the other hand, popped a couple of times and needed to replace them :p my mini is only a month newer, and I had the original 400 wick on it, replaced it last month as it was starting to fray and deteriorate (I also prefer the 325 wicks as I love the thicker vg juices...the Ti standard w/ 400 wick installed that I brought home saturday wont get a 325 wick change until it does the same)
