So I thought I had it working yesterday but now it's back to underperforming quite badly. Unfortunately I have a crappy phone and no way to post detailed pics (long story). I know it sounds crazy but would anyone here be willing to take this ASH for a couple days and get it sorted out and performing correctly? I would ship it out to you and paypal you return shipping costs. I know it sounds crazy but I'm at my wits end. Anyone? Please?

Shaitaan does indeed have me covered, but thanks for the help Vapor2112! And thanks to Shaitaan! I really love the people in this thread. Good people!

Jonner, let me know if you get it worked out or not. If you're not too far from Philly (a couple hours is OK, Erie - not so much :)). It looks like great weather for a ride this weekend! :)

Yourself included! Thanks again for your kind offer. Glad you found some help with your ASH.

Agreed! My iPad is engraved on the back with "To err is human, to forgive canine" :)

Catching up, I read about your loyal friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you Bubba

Issac Update. Good news for FL! Looks like the Issac is going south us. Just going to feel the outer bands of the storm. Not looking so good for AL.

Still a little too close for my comfort.
I still have family in mid Florida.
Georgia and TN for that matter.

Phone calls are in order today.

Much appreciated Bamrz but no can do, I'm a closet vaper (wife doesn't know). And too bad, since I'll be in Philly tomorrow for the Jackie Evancho concert at the Mann, surprising our five year old daughter who loves her music, she thinks we're just going to the Please Touch Me (love the name) museum.

He does sell the mesh and it's VERY easy to roll your own wick. Cut the mesh 15mm x 50mm, hold it with pliers or forceps... take your torch or lighter or gas stove flame and torch the mesh until it glows. Do that all over the mesh. Flip it over and repeat torching the other side making sure all of it is black and oxidized well. Pay close attention to all four edges too. Torch them well.

Take a medium paperclip, straighten it out and roll your wick around it...longwise (50mm LONG). Keep rolling between your fingers until the wick and paperclip will slide into the wick hole insulator. Leave the paperclip in the wick and wrap your coil. Once the coil is wrapped, remove the paperclip, drip some juice on the wick and coil and fire her up! Adjust the coil until all wraps glow evenly.

One piece of mesh will last you YEARS probably. :) 325 mesh is for thick VG juices. 400 mesh is for thinner PG juices.
