My ZAG survived the ultrasonic cleaner and is vaping like a train, this thing is awesome.

I'm probably due for a lynching by the GG crowd for doing this but I wanted to match the finish on the SS ZAG.

Acquired a SS ZAG yesterday from a local friend and the last pieces of another GGTS came in the mail today. Did a brushed finish on the top and bottom tubes to match the cap of the ZAG. Left the telescope, button, and bottom cap shiny to match the skirting on the ZAG.

Thanks to Rivernut for the instructions on the brushed finish.

congrats...I personally do not care much for 'fingerprint magnet' apv's as well...they look all oohs and aaahs, but, better to be sitting inside a glass collector's case to keep it nice and mirror-shiny I'll take the brushed or satin finish any day, IMO more user friendly w/ less maintenance

i managed to take a long nap today. started the day at 5:30, which is not normal for me. set up and tore down 2 educational shows with my buddy Kevin. long day...

new sig looks nice. when you get sick of it...you'll get more.

That was another reason for doing it. I have enough shiny GGTS's that I could try one out and see what happend. The bottom and top tubes are the only ones that ever get touched and so far I haven't had to wipe it down once .

I have a friend here in the city who's like super lucky. He has lizard skin or something...he can handle GGTS's and a chrome ProVari all day and not leave a mark. I wish.
