Id say get you a couple different grits of sand paper.. start with maybe 320 grit or 400 grit.. maybe even higher depending how deep the scratches are

higher number = finer grit = smoother finish

Might just give that a go later today. Shame work has to get in the way of all my vaping fun! So what's the consensus on using Noalox/No-Ox or similar on the button? Should I just coat the outer threads that screw into the battery tube? Perhaps put some on the screw? I thought I'd read a post about Zen mentioning to NOT use any of these things on the button...

Wow... I don't know what to say or how to respond, Not really. But then again.... Some things are better left un-said or in this case, un-replied.......

And a separate rant.........and long overdue from me, I'm tired of the whining and its part of the reason I am now missing my friend here.....:(

If you have joined in the last 3 months and can't get a zen stop your g-damned .....ing about it and especially don't tell him how to produce more, the man knows wtf he is doing and you do not, hell, you haven't even vaped long enough to know what kind of hit you like so just ....!!!!

That is all....... :D

I would say just leave the threads clean.. noalox is for aluminum and just attract more dirt and grime

Zen says you don't need it, and not to use it..........Just clean it periodically with 91% ISO Alc........but, if you must, use No-OX ID A Special, not Noalox.........You can get it on ebay, or a hobby model shop locally.......it's popular with train enthusiasts.....a little will go a LONG way. Put a small smidge on the screw head and wipe all but a slight film off.........

I guess it doesn't bother me that people poke their heads in to ask... Word's gotten out. ZAPs are gonna hit the streets soon. They're the hottest thing going. Where would you expect people to go to get information. One of two things will happen. Either we'll tell them how to sign up for notifications and they'll go away, or we'll tell them how to sign up for notifications and they'll stay. Like anything else, there's good folks and not-so-good folks. I kinda feel like I'm sitting at the cool kids table in here, but it's a big table. There's room for more. What with the campfire, the hotdogs and the smores. The more the merrier.

Has anyone had any issues flying with a zenesis? I am going to a conference in ny next week and am a little concerned about TSA jacking my ASH...

I have not heard of anyone having problems with airport security (except for Zen and the explosive briefcase), but if you are nervous, take a brown bubble envelope, or small box with postage on it with you, addressed to yourself, and mail it home........

Not personally, but you could trying storing it the way Ian74 does. Might show up on the x-ray though.

Sorry, I don't have any sound advice for you other than don't have it filled.

I flew last week and was asked what the tube was in my bag. I took it out and showed it to him and explained that it was an ecig. He said "not like any ecig I've seen before". I told him it was the Rolls Royce of ecigs, took a puff and blew it out. He just looked at me and said "cool, have a safe flight".

Yeah my concern is them I'm three days without a vape if they do. I flew with cartos once and it was the cartos that flagged them going through my bag and explaining. They claimed the cartos looked like bullets. Either way they let me go but I was a lot less concerned about losing a $30 mod and a box of cartos.

Going to pass on the Ian method, lol.

Thanks, was this in Canada or the US? What size juice bottles did you travel with? I remember hearing something about only being able to carry on a certain size bottle... You are a braver man than me to take it out and blow clouds in the face of TSA, lol.

A good thing to do for flights, because while the airline guys are familiar with e-cigs, a lot of them have never seen some of the larger high end devices is to take a printout from Zen's page with whatever Zenesis you have. Just the page with the description and price. If they hassle you, you just show them the printout and then it's never a problem.

I did that with some of my GG stuff, they took one look at the page, and away I went.

I've had no problems through the US either. I used to pack the Zens and fly with an ego and a stardust on the chance they would confiscate them. But I've had no problems so far, and have even been told in a couple of airports that it was ok to vape indoors. I don't worry about it much anymore. We have rights too.

I came, I asked, and I stuck around and was made to feel like one of the cool kids. More people ought to try it. They might see what a good group of people the Zen nation is.
