the fatter the wick the better it wicks....skinny wicks allow more juice through gravity instead of cappilary action which causes overwicking, burning juice(more like boiling juice which causes dark nasty tasting juice), and leaking. thanks but no thanks

That's right. I knew that with them anodized that wouldn't be conductive. But didn't realize how that would affect the wick hole.
