Ty, your switch would have an upgraded switch as yours is above number 50

Gotcha, thanks Ty. Was the upgrade to the switch to accommodate the use of the longer 2000mah AW IMR batteries? Was there any other improvements? My poor switch came scratched, so ended up taking a Cape cod cloth to it, wish I had the skills to give it a proper brushed finish, but it looks pretty nice with a polished switch :)

On a side note, is it normal for the bottom coil (and sometimes top coil) to glow less brightly as the middle coils? They all glow, just the middle coils glow a bit brighter. I've nudged things around a bit but can't get them to glow any hotter. Doesn't seem to cause any issues with taste, just curious if it's worth fiddling/nudging a bit more ha!

And on a final note, now that I know the leaking from connector on the ZAU/ZAP is normal, I'm curious how MUCH is normal? I'm trying to decide if mine is leaking more than what's acceptable, and if so I'll send it in. But if it's a normal, then obviously I'll leave it be and "vape it"

Anyway, hope all you Zen heads are doing well today! Really loving these Z Attys and my Standard, they're top notch! Now if someone would kindly grace me with a Mini, I'll be set ;)

If it is leaking more than a drop or so your center post may have come loose. The next time you clean it or take it apart to make a new coil, check to see if the center post turns if you tighten the screw. If so pull the whole post out and clean everything on the black part with a cloth and rubbing alcohol and clean the tube on the atty with a couple of q-tips and alcohol. Let dry completely and reassemble adding a couple of drops of super glue to the area where there was already some glue when it was made. Push the center post back in and all will be good as new.

Thanks!! Last I check the top post was tight, but will double check next time I re-coil. Is that top center post screwed in or just pushed in and glued?

You're reply got me thinking, is it possible to clean that center atty tube every once and awhile? I'd imagine all the Zen hybrids and Z-attys leak down into that tube, but as the ZAP/ZAU are the only two with spring pins, they're the only ones that actually leak out the bottom. Leads me to believe they all end up with juice in the center tube, so it seems like you'd want to clean that out every once and awhile eh?

The center post is pushed in and glued. Once you glue it again it should not leak anymore. I fixed mine almost 2 days after I got it and it has not leaked since. I wanted to post how I did it a long time ago but hesitated in case I did something wrong. But during CB's show the other night Zen~ himself told all of us how to do it. It was the exact thing I had already done. I knew to use the glue because I could see there was some on the post after cleaning it. I have not had even a drop come out on mine since I fixed it but if I start to see some I will check again to see if the post came loose again.

Thanks!! Last I check the top post was tight, but will double check next time I re-coil. Is that top center post screwed in or just pushed in and glued?

As far as what Zen~ said it was only the ZAP and the ZAU that this applies to.

OH
She knew that she was going out on some pretty thin ice... She has been "exposed" in school. She knew...

I told her that I was honored that she felt comfortable enough to ask.

Knowing that she knew the basics from a previous explanation from her mother, I told her.

Wow... now that is one thing I guess still keeps me afraid of having children :)

Still, I think it's wonderful that she asked obviously not to find out information, but rather to build avenues. I mean Google it, right.... You are lucky she already knows the difference between information and knowledge - many people never learn it.

Too serious?

Looking for some information. Does the ZATTY-Pro use the mini or standard tanks? Or both? I want to order some replacements.
Thanks!

the ZAP uses a mini tank.
EDIT: if i had a better attention span, i'd have been patient enough to see that bamrz already answered that......
