grats dis....and just noticed the change in your avatar, I loved Marty Feldman as a kid....one of my old time favorites is 'Young Frankenstein'...hell, I named one of my juices, thanks to one of his lines, the one where he was fetching the brain to be used in the 'monster'.....my absynthe liquid is called 'Abby Normal'

So i got a ZAG the other day. I put in an 18350 battery, but it's too small to make connection with the atty. It works with an 18490 or 18650. But the 18350 is too small. The telescope is in the all the way.
Do I need a spacer or something? Or a stealth top cap

Oh you have to screw it onto the telescope for 18350. Take the top tube off and screw the ZAG on the tele

it will not fit i'm so sad

Maybe you'll find one at the COV table at VC?

I have a newer telescope and had to file the threads a bit to get the zag to fit.. run your finger over the edge of the telescope you should be able to feel where the burrs are..

I don't know about the newer telescopes, I do know the first 100 or so of the first SS ones had to be replaced fwiw, there was a problem with the threading and Bruce replaced them for free. I have always wondered what happened to those bad tubes, I know I have 2 of them sitting here.......

We plan on leaving at about 8am, so 1ish I think should be my ETA. I am really excited for this!!! I don't even mind being at work today. I've been getting puppy used to his crate so he doesn't completely destroy my house while I'm gone.

Check out the PV I got for free yesterday...

Basically a clear acrylic tube with Zmax guts. Not much more than a conversation piece, but kind of a cool conversation piece, nonetheless.
