Well, solved the why did my coil pop issue. Apparently there was a minute cut in my wick..... got the OMG HARSH thing today and couldn't fix it with nudging, not touching the bottom of the tank or the top cap, etc. etc. Took the juice out and the entire wick was glowing. Turns out what I thought was just a kink from the old coil when it got bumped out of whack was actually a tear in the wick, coil was embedded, and the whole thing became a giant hot spot. Note to self: if the wick looks mangled, just change it.
I guess my infraction was for abandoning my sale thread even though I did not have access to the Internet while out of town.

Edit: I do miss my old home town...home prices were so much better. Kind of miss being the space too. Might have to move back one day. Weather is one thing but there were advantages.

When you said "workshop" I was somehow picturing something smaller. THAT is a hell of a mancave.
Sweet house Zen, thats a nice kitchen, looks like ya got a good chunk of property with it too. 1 acre? After years of living in a city I too had to retreat to the country to give myself some elbow room. Its so nice to have a yard except when I have to mow it=)
