Good morning, folks. Friday, finally!!! I still don't want to be here today, though :(

I was saying the same thing at work today...my legs feel like jell-o and feet are sore as heck after a long week working on my feet (rather than in a driver's seat all day), walking all over the place @ the shop and then some lol

No because the bottom plate and screw needs to be change out also.

I tried the sidewinder today with the fix and WOW ! It really hits hard I can't believe the differences it's awesome now. Most peeps will not have to need to kick it that's for sure.

You know, honestly....
I got mine simply because it's a "new" Zen, it's gorgeous to look at, and fits well in my little hands.
I never intended to use a kick, and don't know that I ever will.

Mike.... if you do a catch up, packed up and sent back to you today.
I included my AlumiZen, and forgot to include a note to remind you what it was doing.
I'm an airhead.

I can't help you on the SW questions, but I absolutely love my Zenesis Mini (kcos likes hers a little too I think). I use 18350's the majority of the time even in my devices that accept an 18650, I just prefer the smaller form factor.
Depending on your set-up (number of coil wraps), battery life can vary some, but the "general rule" is you can get through the tank on one battery.

If I'm not going to have a charger handy and am leaving the house for the day I'll typically have one battery in the Mini, and a small case that holds 2 extras. Depending on how I vape, and how long the day is, sometimes I don't touch the third battery, sometimes I get about 1/2 way through its charge.

Hope that helps a little.

exactly, that was Zen~'s plan on the design.... to be honest, I still bring an extra battery with me to work or any place else regardless, for 'just in case'.... I bring my 'vari mini/zap combo (NO extension cap) with me most of the time, as well, and because of my settings, and how I chain vape all the time, I have no choice to bring an extra battery for it as well...mind you....both tanks are usually quite close to being empty when I get home.... I vaporize anywhere from 15-30mg's a day, and use all 5 of my existing zenesi every day...

That thing looks really good. Now I'm torn. Instant gratification, or wait for the Cobalt?

Sigh.

I've already dumped way too much money into hardware in the last couple of months, and I'm about 99.95% sure I would still end up buying a Cobalt. Steel is still steel, and a steel ZAP plus a steel P+ is still going to weigh more than a Cobalt, even if the size ends up being roughly the same. Love the switch on it, though.

Okay, I may as well confess. Not only am I going to buy a Cobalt, if/when Zen does another run of TI... I'll get one of those too.

I can hold out. I can hold out. I can hold out. Is anyone convinced yet? I'm not.

(takes a puff from ZAP on provari)

I can hold out. It's not like I'm traveling on business for the next two weeks and will end up not having my ZAP.

(takes a puff from ZAP on provari)

Okay, fine. I can't hold out. But if I ordered it, I wouldn't even be home to get it. By the time it got here, the Cobalts will be available. And it wouldn't get here in time for my next trip anyway.

I can hold out!

(takes a puff from ZAP on provari)

I can't hold out.

(goes quietly insane)

You can hold out.
You will be much happier getting what you want than getting something you're willing to settle for.
Now, I haven't actually held a cOBalt, but if it weighs the same as the BAM or MFA, it is incredibly lightweight.
And.... if you have an inner pocket that won't allow it to tip over sideways, I think you'll be very happy with it.

alumizen is mfa or an early version?

I think, but don't quote me, there were 5 prototypes made and then 10 more were made.
All standard size, in aluminum.
Ages ago. I managed to get my greedy paws on one of the "10".

Oh.... and I just call them AlumiZens. I believe those 10 are actually the "December 10".

Ninja, don't want to add to your decision, but the WMZ might be a good option as well. Seeings how it will have a belt clip on it.

I forgot about that one. LOL

What are "the chats" I have seen mentioned?

No idea Annie, I haven't seen any of them and don't really care to. I'm a Zefidel for life and the nay-sayers will never change that. I know who the MASTER is. :2cool:

I've never understood getting mad at the one who invents a better mouse trap.
Just improve your own ....., don't get nasty about it.
