i still wanna know what kind of sandpaper to use
I used 120 (medium) and then 220 (very fine) to smooth it off a little.

We have no Waffle House restaurants in the area.
HOWEVER, if you want to eat a great breakfast any time of day - TEMPO CAFE - ROCKS! It's the place to go after a night out on the town and they have great food. Open 24 hours a day. It's not in Rosemont, but worth the trip...or if you're Downtown for a visit, a good place to go for breakfast (they have lunch and dinner also - I've just never eaten them).

I'm with K-man! The Sidewinder is ZENTASTIC!!!!!! I just love how it fits in my hand perfectly. Wrap your fingers around it and the button is perfectly placed for the thumb for firing. It's a work of art! I can tell this was Mike's Labor of Love. It's such a sweeeeet APV. I love the top button too.

Hi, dear Ripple, so lovely to see you. I didn't notice much difference when I tried the SS switch. Ima try a few more things but, like you, may wind up sending the twins back to Mike for his special touch, lol.
Shai, I never intended to leave the SS switch on an aluminum APV. Was just trying (unsuccessfully, as it turned out) to experiment as a diagnostic troubleshooting tool.
Unfettered, I had the best time hanging with you at VC. Didn't we just have some fun? Junky apparently took his own photo of the alleged boob grab, which turned out blurry. The photo you took for me is also fuzzy. Maybe some moments are just not meant to be captured. With an auto-focus lens, pics of 2 people are often problematic, as the lens wants to focus on the space between the two people, unless the photographer reframes the shot after focusing. Anyway, I neglected to tell you how to do that. Thanks for your (and Chief's) advice about a heavier sanding on the switch screws. I may try that. In fact, that was the trick that finally got my SS Mini performing so well. But it took a really HEAVY sanding.
Jolly, I never thought to sand the spring itself - will give that a try, too.

Snow white actually wasnt bad dude. Kinda cheesy but all these type of movies are. lol I liked avengers too
I really like Promethius. My wife and I went to see a movie, this was playing. It brought the original Alien together for sure, agreed it had everything to do with it IMO... though I believe the writers said it could stand on its own storyline.

afternoon everyone. thanks to some tips..did a new wick and coil on the standard and its rockin and rolling like a les paul should!! haha
agreed with all.....its just really sad though that MANY of the peeps I know who saw the movie didn't have the common sense or imagination to tie it with the first Alien movie....like the 'serpents' that evolved from the cargo cylinders (kinda like wierd 'huggers devolved, coming from the eggs in original movie)....the monstrosity that was 'cut out' and turned into that hugemongous version of a face hugger... the giant aliens, the ship, the wierd chair that looked more like a weapon...they were to a tee like that first movie...from the first movie, you didn't know the dead alien was inside a suit ...
the biggest thing I liked about it 'standing on it's own'...the writers left it open at the end...maybe we shall find out what happened to the doc and 'bot...maybe not...
