It's been brutal here in and around Boston too.
I have internet for probably a couple more minutes but it has been touch and go roof and walls leaking
70mph winds and raining so hard you can't even see outside my door.
Trees down and flooding everywhere here and the surrounding states and more expected.
I hope everyone is okay and that none of your family and friends got hurt.
I am hoping to have all my gear hardwired by "comcast-off" tomorrow but you know how unreliable they can be!
Hopefully there will be a show but we shall see if they can do it right!

Checking in - no power outages just a little light-dimming last night during the high winds. Not too much rain. Lots of little branches and leaves but no major damage for us, but had 2 detours on the way to work this morning. Got to come home early today because the airport and our plant were both shut down last night, so no incoming mail this morning. Tomorrow is sure to be hell though.

Well.... I guess Sandy stirred up the crazy around here.
A neighbor 3 doors down from us has barricaded himself in, with a gun.
So even though the weather will let us out of the house, the cops won't.
At least until this guy is in custody.
I hope his family is out of the house and doing ok.
They aren't telling us anything, and we can't see the way the houses are set.
