Sand and then clean all of your contacts with Isopropyl alcohol.. Apv and batt.. Except the inside positive terminal alcohol should suffice..on a q tip

Emory cloth or board would work light grit sand paper... I use a dremel with a light grit sanding disk

As for wicking, mine is being iffy at this point. Last night I felt like it was wicking a bit but today, it's still only lackluster wicking. I'm hoping it's still just a matter of time... does it start wicking in stages? Also, my inlaws are here so I haven't been able to vape as much as usual... so even though I feel like it's been a full day and the wicking is still only so-so, in reality, I've hardly used it.

Oh and you don't need to sand inside the atty area AT ALL.. Just rinse with dawn and warm water to clean the tank and atty
Somtimes yes, very slow stages.. Sometimes it just start almost right away..so many variables.. But it's still plug and play..I guess you got the dial up model pchela!!

But like lorderos said.. Once you get the hang of it and have your ah ha moment with your set up... 10 minutes tops, every time...
I have horrendous allergies so I get that at least a few times a day.
I usually brush my teeth and mouth, clears it up pretty well and also gives me 10 minutes or so of free menthol vaping!
that happens to me every so often, when im over vaping a certain flavor juice.. food taste doesnt seem to be affected tho as they still taste normal.
ive since discovered that when it does happen i splash some peroxyl mouth wash and swish it around a minute or so.. doesnt bring back 100% full flavor but its still a great palate cleanser / restorer (for me anyway).

Yes, developing the right draw is one of the key elements to great vapor and flavor in a Genisis. The thing to remember is that a Genisis coil likes LOTS of air, but not necessarily fast moving air.
Well, sherbet works in fancy schmancy restaurants so maybe it'll work for vapor!
I use a pencil eraser, lol. Works great and doen't damage the surface of what you are trying to clean
