I feel stupid but... I'm not sure if I'm on the notification list! If you click on it it gives you the big red crossed out circle which means you aren't on the list! If you don't, you have the nice, green check mark. I'm so confused!
In other news, I found a little lost budgie last night... poor little guy was starving to death, he's so thin. I have to find his owners or a home for him.

by budgie you mean parakeet? I have not heard someone refer to one of those as a budgie in years.....

Yeah, a parakeet - I used to hand raise parrots so I have to use the right names. A budgerigar is the tiny bird people here know as parakeets. Parakeets cover a much broader range of birds. The distinguishing feature is the long tail. So a budgie is a parakeet, but not all parakeets are budgies.

I had one for 18 years. I mean a budgie. That is unusual from what I understand.

when I moved from california to oregon, my mother purchased him a plane ticket (I mean a seat) for him to sit in.
I had him fully trained. sat on my shoulder, came when I called. Even said a few words. well maybe a couple that I can remember. He could whistle for sure.
It was a million years ago.
