I saw one for sale for 450$ in the ECF classifieds earlier. I don't get the big deal :( Visually it doesn't seem all that appealing to me, and for some reason (my humble opinion only) it strikes me as the "Jersey Shore" of APV's.

Again - I've never used one, I just don't get the hype around it. No offense to the person who makes these, or anyone who has one, as I'm absolutely certain there is no way I could come close to making something better, and I'm sure I'd enjoy using it (it is a genesis after all). I just wouldn't pay over 200$ for one, if I ever decided to add one to my collection.

I was starting to get burnt taste and was frequently cleaning the coil so I decided to go ahead and change it... still being new, I wasn't sure when you're supposed to change the coil. When it pops?

Changed mine when I popped it. (Typed when it popped but edited to tell the truth)

Taking the top cap off and rinsing it under hot tap water does wonders for getting rid of the burnt taste. I find that after awhile, condensation from the vapor that's left in there will cause a burnt taste.

Doing nothing else but that sometimes will bring the YUM factor back to full throttle tasty! :)

I had about 6 or 7 little 10ml bottles of different DIY ejuices I had made sitting in front of my monitor. They had anywhere from 6ml to 10ml in each of them. They were not labeled as I'm lazy about that, too, and they had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. I finally got tired of looking at them and dumped them all into a larger bottle. Then I threw in about 30ml of a plum I had also made. I added some PG/VG to the mixture to cut the nic down from 24mg to somewhere around 15 to 18mg. I ended up with about 4 oz of ejuice, and that's what I have been vaping in the Standard. It is surprisingly tasty. The Mini had grapefruit in it which is one of my daily vapes. When the tank got down to about 1/4, I added Pear eliquid to it which is also one of my daily vapes. It, too, is very good. All of the ejuices I vape are made in much the same serendipity fashion, and I have not had a flop yet.

So the moral of the story is don't get too hung up on the details of anything. It will all come out in the wash.......LOL

Pchela...I have a flavor I'd love to see someone make! Up for a challenge? :p

Key Lime Coconut Patties - Anastasia Confections

My favorite treat ever. Key lime and coconut dipped in milk chocolate :D
That sounds amazing but I've never tried DIY. My recipe is from a contest. I only told them the ingrediants, they made the juice I'd like to learn to DIY but haven't tried yet. Im the wrong person for this job!

I was getting some burnt taste, so I took off the top cap, pulled the O Ring, removed the tank for cleaning, and gave the coil and wick a quick shower under the hot water tap.

I reassembled, dry burned for a sec, refilled with juice, tilted to soak the wick, burned it for about 10 seconds while tilting, and it's putting out more vapor than I have ever gotten from it before. I've got the windows open, or there would be a fog in front of my screen.

It's a secret until it releases... But basically, it adjusts the draw...

Hahaha thx Zen.....I just wrote a killer review, but when I hit submit, it said the page I was looking at vanished. I hope it went through, spent over a half hour writing and editing it, not sure I could get the same lightning in a bottle if I have to redo it. But would clearly try
