question for all of you. I figured I would start here before going into the main area.

In the last few weeks, I have started to notice feeling tightness in my chest as though I was smoking. It is definitely worse in the am.

I know the common responses will be that you will say that my body is adjusting after quitting smoking. I know this is not the case here. some background. I had not smoked in about three years before starting vaping about a year and a half ago. My lungs felt perfectly clear. I also have not felt this the entire time that I have been vaping.

Now it could be I am vaping more. I do seem to be taking bigger hits and using my devices more in recent weeks. I also have not changed my juice mix, although I did start making some of my own. I did not seem to have many issues with PG in the past so I am not sure that was it either.

any advice or help is appreciated. thanks!
go see the doc!

Well, we know it's not a cold, so you should go to the doctor, ob. He will/she will probably blame it on the vaping though. How many years were you a smoker? Do you have a family history of heart disease? You could have something wrong with your heart because of smoking...even though you have quit. We know this has been going on longer than it should. Right?

My brother died at the age of 40 from a massive heart attack (he was a smoker), so it's not impossible for that to be an issue at your age. Two weeks ago my S-I-L, same age as me, had a quadruple bypass (though we are older than you). A heart attack at your age should be a concern being an ex-smoker. Of course diet and lifestyle plays a part too.

Have you tried vaping zero nic at all? Nicotine does still affect the heart, but not as much as the 4000 other chemicals in cigarettes. It could still be an issue though.

It could also be something else, so...

Go to the doctor! Please.
sorry about your bro vicsan.

Go see a doctor but I know if I vape too much it affects me the exact same way. This is the main reason I only vape 3mls a day.....

I think it should also have an induction charger built into it and a charging base as well.

Built in OLED display for battery level, juice level, coil health, wick condition, short circuit warning, as well lastest forum news and email alerts via wifi.
and somebody to vape it for you also and automatic choke to shut down when not in use:laugh:

OK,

first I want to thank you all for the love, concern and advice you have given me today. I truly appreciate it.

second, I want to apologize for hijacking the thread today with my issues. I did not intend to do that.

I want you all to know I am not someone who would play around with my health. I would not call myself a health-freak necessarily, but I do go to doctors regularly for a variety of things. In addition to that I regularly see a acupuncturist and a nature path. I am 42 (almost 43) and am in pretty good shape generally. I say all of this so you all do not think I am just scared or lazy or do not want to spend the $ on a doctor. I have pretty good insurance (which I pay a fortune for)

I also think I am pretty in-tune with my body. I have a general idea of where this is coming from, but have not pinpointed exactly. It started up after I received my first zenesis. I in NO WAY think the device is unsafe. I have been chain-vaping since I received it and am taking bigger, hotter hits. Also during this time I started doing some DIY. I am guessing either my new use of the devices, the new juices and or a combination of maybe a little infection is causing this. I plan on going back to my old juices, slowing it a little and taking some things for my lungs for a bit and see what happens. If this does not work, I will see a doctor.

I can assure all of you it is in my lungs and not my chest. I can feel the tightness in the am. Also, I took some pretty harsh hits early on and maybe things got too hot in there. I do not know the exact answer, but am working step by step to figure them out. If not, I will see a doctor.

once again, I appreciate all of the concern and well wishes and farewells (that is for your cardslinger :))

I'm interested in trying Zen's juices. On the Bombay site there's no descriptions. What does Black Ice taste like?

Black ice is licorice and menthol. A very in your face vape. I didn't think I'd like it at first but I got it out of curiosity because i won it.

Man do I live this stuff. Perfect mix of flavors and my all day vape.
