I never owned any device made by POC... I had a chance to try a hybrid mini.

There was a common method of building genisis atomizers that POC uses... He has two wires threading through the juice tank and the mesh coil goes straight down the middle.

I made it so there are no wires in the tank with a positive post straight up the center and the mesh off to the side... By doing this it enables the tank to be disassembled for cleaning much easier, and there are no wires at all in the entire PV... Also, this creates the possibility of adjustable throat hit, as long as we don't thread on the top cap.

In other words, I completely redesigned the atomizer section.

gotcha. Thanks. Sorry, I thought you said that you owned one. My mistake. So you are saying in the other design, there is no room for adjustable TH right? Would you say that your version is safer? Is there any danger in the design where there are wires threading through the juice tank?

I see no particular danger in the POC design. The wires are well insulated.

My design is sturdier, and electrically much more efficient than thin wires. People who have owed both feel my design is easier to use and vapes better. The ease of use is due to much friendlier connections and the better vape can be attributed to the better conductivity of the design as well as the repositioning of the mesh and coil.

Great. Thanks for the information.

I appreciate it.

On a side note I still question the logic of the running them through the tank, it seems an after though design. Meaning the wires insulation will react just like poly does, it may not be as fast but that insulations is going to deteriorate....to tired to spell...

The wires are insulated with the plastic Q-tip tubes on the original hybrid mini. On a re-build I made my connections with M2 threaded stainless rod insulated with heat shrink tubing. The Katana has exposed stainless electrodes that feed through the tank sealed with a nylon bushing.

Just in case anyone was curious in the differences between the POC designs :)

There is a limited supply. It is worth the wait. The delayed gratification of vaping on a Zenesis will be worth it.

I know. I am on the list for more than one.

I am not a patient man. The wait is going to stink. It'll get worse when the first group gets them. Then it will be torturous.

Waiting till March gives us time to make sure we have supplies for when it gets here, and to practice our sick rolling and oxidizing!

How bout those Giants?

Supplies?

Practice?

Yeah.... Ummmm....

Have you been reading the same thread?

The zenesis PV comes with pre-rolled and pre-oxidized wicks. 12 of 'em actually.... And enough kanthal to last a year.

What other supplies and practice is needed?

I guess that leaves batteries and practice sucking juice up into a syringe ;)

Good morning Zenfidels!!
Well, it looks like those of us on the February list should be holding our Zenesis' in our hot little hands within the next couple of weeks!!
I really feel for those that are on later lists. I know that I've been (not so) patiently waiting for less than a month, and it seems like it’s been a long time.
