Actually how much would titanium cost...........

Depending on quantity, it will run from 400-650.... If only 10 are made, they will be 650... If I can get 40-50 sold, 500... Someplace in the middle will be someplace in the middle...

If it turns into people jumping off the existing lists to go for the titanium, I won't make them, since it will cause problems with stainless parts already ordered.

A titanium Zenesis Standard will be extraordinary, to say the least!

Oh, I thought of over the top finish.

Rhodium plating.............with an Iridium tint on the tank..............

I am still thinking mini's cause the price jumps have to be considered........

In these quantities there's only about 20 dollars difference between the mini and the standard.

I wouldn't rhodium plate titanium!

No doubt,a Ti. standard would be awesome. At 650,a little outta my range.@ 400 it'd be a tough decision

Everyone should indulge in a great premium Maduro cigar whenever the mood strikes.
It just isn't the same as smoking those disgusting stinking cigarettes!
vaping has also killed my fondness for 4-6 cigars a day but I do still have a few and will smoke them when on a long drive or gathered with friends who also indulge.
I think we should make it a point to join up in Chicago and have a little "vapers cigar smoke"!

For me, a cigar is an event... An exceptional cigar shared in the company of old friends is one of my favorite escapes.... That said, it happens for me two or three times per year when a group of old friends gathers either in LA, Chicago or Vegas... We smoke a great one, have an amazing steak or lobster or both, and remember stories from the past.

I simply cannot imagine these gatherings without a cigar. But cigs are done for me, and they shall remain done. I vastly prefer vaping to cigarette smoking!

So... Speaking of fine things...

If by chance I was to have a small run of titanium 18650 standards made, would there be any interest... And would a mini be preferred over the larger standard size... I would only be able to justify one size.

Thoughts?

I for one would be in 100% for a titanium standard :)

I understand Zen~ and agree completely.

Wow! Titanium would be lighter than SS and I do love the way it looks, so right off the bat it is appealing but, truth be told, I probably wouldn't pay a huge premium. It's not that I don't think exotic materials are worthwhile or anything, it's just that for me, their (significantly?) higher price points probably rule them out. I shouldn't jump to conclusions about the pricing but I can't imagine that the cost of titanium stock is anywhere in the neighborhood of SS.

edited to add: I just saw the pricing and that would put the titanium ones out of my league.

As for size, I don't really care although I prefer larger batteries like the 18650 for longevity. But the size is merely one part of the designer's vision and I think any art should be taken as it was envisioned by the artist. For example, I think your 2011 Limited is stunning even though it's shorter than the standard.

You really want to make me bust open the piggy bank, Zen~? How about one with a carbon fiber body and some sort of black anodized tank frame to keep it all sleek and black?? I think that would be drop dead sexy.:drool::drool: (Please remember that I asked first, lol!)

Either would be fine.

I might prefer a mini. Just my 2c

I'm in for either. I love titanium.

Ps. Not jumping off the list.

LOL OK well I decided to geek out on something that won't be done and explain the choices.

The iridium on the tank is to make it corosive resistant, as well as giving it that metalic mirror gold finish like oakley sunglasses.
The rhodium is almost as corosive resistant as iridium, Rhodium plating will give an extremely hard mirror "white" metalic finish, can be polished to look like Platinum, and it is extremely scratch resistant.

Meh... I don't need none of your "chemistry"... ;)

Actually all black is sexy too, but yea that could be an option for an AL one. ok......this plus the dragon and the 2012 limited................Zen~ you are really going to be draining a lot of pockets LOL

I don't want to drain pockets... I'm gonna go right ahead here say the Ti is shelved until I can get it down to 400-450 range

Further down the thread this option was discussed... Reminder though... A z-atty would not have a battery tube... Only a zenesis will have a battery tube. Z-attys are atomizers

I'm not saying that you should make another z-atty. It was just visual aid to help explain what I was describing.

Another way to say what I was describing is to have the switch and hollow battery tube be made of aluminum or any cheaply milled metal that treads to the tank/atty made of surgical grade stainless steel that has the positive battery terminal.

Unless that is how the zenesis is made and somewhere along the way I got the impression that the whole thing was made of surgical grade stainless steel.
