I've been using the CGR18650CH batteries in most of my PVs. They are IMR, and they are 2250 mAh. You can get them either flat top or with button at Orbtronic.

Just a little more vaping time, but when you chain vape, every little bit helps.

I looked at them and discussed it in another thread. No reason not to use them. I learned to do exactly as Zen does from reading here though. At any rate I upgraded from 1,100 to 2k so I should be happy. ;-)

Hello Zenfidels (especially those who have had a zenesis device for a few months),

Apologies if this is in the thread, I've tried searching a few times with no luck.

I was wondering how often you you clean your zenesis device, and if you ever need to sand the contacts or use noalox. The reason that I ask is because I would prefer to buy a whole zenesis device, but i'm unwilling to repeat my experiences with the precise battery holders. arcing was a huge problem for me and i ended up having to sand my contacts every week, use noalox, and my vaporizer switch would start to suck again towards the end of the week. if that is the case with the zenesis devices, I would prefer to just put a z-atty on top of my precise plus, which has none of those problems. but the zenesis devices are so beautiful!

thanks,

gerry

I've had my Zenesis Standard and Mini for over a month and have never sanded the contacts. I did add a dab of Noalox to the contact screw, just because I can :) and it has always worked perfectly. This is the most maintenance-free PV I have ever owned...because I'm not fiddling with cartos, tanks or commercial atomizers. Just fill it and vape! I do occasionally rinse the wick/coil after a dry burn and rinse the tank area if I have it apart, but that's it.
