Some people have no problem with leaving the batts on the charger, others have the same problem you had... The Pila is never going to do that. It's the best choice.

But there is life without a Pila... It only requires that you take the battery off charge when the light turns green!

I have these cheap chargers that have never cooked a battery... Yet... I also have a LOT of batteries in case the charger decides to fail me.

And I know I should get a Pila... In fact... While I'm thinking about it, I'm going to order it right now, before adult ADD has me looking for sources for clear ceramic radomes.

Definitely. I should have pulled them, but there were about four things going on at once and I didn't do it. I'm on call, and there are times when the phone rings...I'm out the door. I could live with ruining the batts, but I didn't like thinking it had over-charged them to death in a few hours, which is what happened. The Pila makes me sleep better at night.

Zenesis, please hurry to my mail box. My spring on my provari is losing it's bounce and leaving me with a rattling battery. I fear that this may damage the only AW IMR18650 that I have. If that happens then I only will be able gaze at your beauty until I can order more after march. This will do me no good, for I have longed for your sweet vapor between my lips flowing ever so gently against my tounge exciting my tastebuds. So please ,zenesis, let us start our glorious relationship and hurry to me.

two things. One, everyone get a Pila charger. Honestly, I am going to buy a backup I like it that much.
two, I have adhd and I love it. I think it is a gift from god. :)

Omg...

I went to buy a Pila charger...

It cost me nearly 300 bucks by the time I added in the tactical flashlight and all the accessories like the remote control and stuff!

Zen. Did you see my question about the 2000's vs the 1600's?

I know you said they were fine but are the 2000's better?

Ps, the way you shop (like me) you better sell a lot of these :)

I have both... I honestly have not noticed a huge difference in performance... Too close to call.

And I've been looking for a tactical flashlight with a remote for my AR 15... If I like it I'll grab two more for the carbon 15 and the TAC-22

The pila is amazing!. I was skeptical before I got one. It charges considerably faster than my other chargers.

About the 1600mah VS 2000 MAH, I read some threads in the super T forum when the owner tested them against each other. They mostly came out the same in the end. His conclusions based on the tests were the 1600 is slightly better for mechanical mods, the 2000 for electronics (boost, buck, regulated). They were very close though. I can dig up the links if people would like, I am not sure on the protocol for cross supplier thread linking.
