Here is the new Zen-wick, wrapped as instructed. About 10 minutes of use. Seemed pretty tight when I installed it. Still a flood.
Did you drill extra holes in your top ???

sadly I agree....his picture, the coils seem too loose, wick looks to be touching the post screw.. and I still agree to believe its end user error....not rolling, oxidizing wicks properly, coils not wrapped properly...shorting... i've had zen's prototype z-atty-g, which by the way, was used by others before me, been through hell and back before I put it through demon's paces...pretty well worn.... I use 80/20 or 70/30 pg/vg most of the time, and yet I set the prototype down on it's side all the time so I don't knock it over (and I do the same with my new standard now too) and no problems with leaking...NOT ONCE...I know Zen~ does too...been to vape meets (and last meeting when i picked up my standard..) and he has one or more laying on their side, juice in tanks.... yes, i've seen a bit of liquid in the atty section from condensation due to chain vaping, but thats nothing to write home about, it's never an issue.... this is not meant to critizise him, just hoping that the issue is re-thought about hopefully, correctly analized and solved.... there's a reason for everything done for the assembly and rebuild of these units, and really, it isn't that hard to figure out at all. it's easy, quick, and you have to follow it properly, one step at a time...no biggie deal

this picture doesnt look like a wicking flood...this actually looks like mine from chain vape condensation.... give it a bit more time bro, really 10 mins isnt long enough to break in a wick and coil with these babies, average is about one or two tanks usually...just a little more attention to detail when working the coil and wick, you'll have it solved bud... i wouldnt sweat it
you're working with a different animal here, so the learning curve is quite different from what you are already used to, not a big deal

Those look like air bubbles...
If the wick is really tight in the wick hole, try rolling it a little tighter so it is just snug in the hole. That should help your wicking problems right away.
He's flooding... the opposite of wicking problems...
I don't know what to say other than pictures of juice in the cap doesn't help... pictures of the atty firing helps. I believe you when you say there is juice in the cap... and SOME juice in there is perfectly normal... But if it's crazy like it was, then we have to sort it out, and the only way to do that is to see it in action.
I don't believe it is firing correctly.
So I need pictures of it firing and video would be even better.
I don't think this is a design issue, I believe it may be user error, which is ok, it happens... we just need to get you up to speed on what needs to be happening.
And I would... once again... appreciate it if this was in the group area... though if you insist on having it here, that's ok too... but please understand everybody that can will try to help, and there are a lot of folks on this thread that have working devices, and a fair amount of experience with this style of atty.

When I have time later I will post more pics of it firing - and move my questions over the the group forum. The cap in the pic is to show the quantity of juice that is flooding in after a short time.

@ ecitek although I just caught up on the thread I must say the pix of the wick looked funky not totaly oxidised and WAY to large mesh having made my own Frankenatty to shorten my learning curve with the Zenisis I have encountered both flooding and dry hits so the "breaking in" is paramount!! also my dog is not in this fight so take my words for what they are worth NO ONE and I mean NO ONE is wishing any ill will on you...and frustration sets in quick I know like I said I made 3 geni attys and they all fire like choochoo trains now just had to break em in....mine are krap compared to the Zen!
