My issue with atomizers has always been the harshness on the inhale. It made me cough. That's why I ended up using only cartos for the last 8 months. Last night I decided to try a 5 wrap coil and see how I liked it. MUCH, MUCH better for me! A lot cooler vapor and less harsh TH. It was still just a tad harsh on the inhale though. Here's my pretty new 5 wrap coil...and it works! It was so freakin' easy (and FUN) to do. It took maybe 3 minutes to wrap it. I LOVE my Zenesis! I LOVE knowing I can change my vape any time I choose. Who wouldn't love this thing? SERIOUSLY.

If a 5 wrap coil is this much better for me and this much better on the throat hit, 6 HAS TO BE THE BOMB! And it IS! My perfect vape!

i love the weird looks i get everywhere i go with my zenesis. got pulled over by a cop yesterday... always fun to explain these things to them. i carry around business cards around with me cause them damn cops are always clueless. next time ima load this thing up with skunk juice and really throw them for a loop.

Why do they pull you over? Do they think it's a crack pipe or something? Do the cops make you demonstrate it for them? I've never been pulled over while vaping in the car and I do it all the time.

Thanks, Shai! It's not harsh at all with six wraps. I think I'm going to remove one wrap and go back to five. Zen~ was right...five wraps will be my sweet spot!

Say someone had a pila charger and did not have the battery spacers for the 18350 battery.

Could you use the screw in adjusters and stack them on top of each other and charge one 18350 battery that way?

you can buy spacers used for any other charger and use em...they just wont be fastened to it like the ones that come with your charger...

yup pulled me over for using what appeared to them to be a pipe. they pull me over all the time for just being a metalhead. pulled over just about weekly just for how i look. searched and dogged every time. i have fun with it these days. the joys of being in the metal culture in a retirement community! i even got raided once for no reason whatsoever(ever since 9/11 they are allowed to do this without cause or warrant) and have been harrassing me ever since cause they found one of my old bongs that hasent seen use in 10 years. thanks bush for taking away our rights!!!!

XTAR spacers screw onto the Pila and are the PERFECT size...and they work.

Ob I saw the two screw spacers used on VTtalk by Dave. If I understand correctly that is how they are used.

yep those are the ones needed so you can charge the 18490 or 16500 batteries....he needs extra's

I never hide my PVs when I see a cop. Maybe I'll start hiding it! Though I usually have my eGo-T in the car so they probably know what it is when they see it. I've never tried taking my Lavatube or Zenesis in the car. That might be a different story.

Do you vape in your room? I always do. Vapor leaves no odor behind so you can vape in no smoking hotels/rooms.

OK, the tale of my first day with the first twin, Mini #0034........

Should have been here yesterday, but wasn't, it got here about noon. I unpacked it, and watched the videos again. Wrapped my first coil. It wasn't the best but it worked, that is, until I started messing with it....I think my first coil on the wick was too tight.......then I decided I could do better with a second try. The second try was worse than the first, but it's the one I've been using all day, made useable with the 'poking while red' tip.

I had a little flooding in the cap until I followed eastman's instructions and pulled the wick up a little higher and put more space between the coils, and then I added some VG to my eliquid. I normally use 80/20, but now it's roughly 70/30.......I've been thru about 2 half tanks and it's beginning to come together, but my pinky is sore.........LOL.........I had put in some juice I didn't much care for, doctored it by adding some of another flavor, and now it is surprisingly good.

I think I will try 5 wraps next time.

I'm not sure whether I'm getting a dry hit now and again, or if it's just my wick or coil still getting broken in. How long should it take?

I think I had a surprisingly good first day as this was my first rebuildable atty, and I'm generally a kutz with no mechanical/electrical ability/aptitude.

The Standard #0034 should be here Thursday, but it will probably be Friday. Priority never gets to me on time. Maybe I'll be a pro by then.

I just got my step stool and stood under my smoke alarm with my Zenesis and blew vapor directly into it and it went off! However, just standing under it and vaping, still on the step stool, close to the ceiling, not blowing the vapor directly into the smoke alarm, it didn't go off. It evaporates too fast to hit the smoke alarm.

In an airline bathroom, just blow your vapor into a tissue toward the floor. You'll be fine.

You could try holding your breath for a bit too, no vapor will come out on exhale

I was pulled over for a california cruise thru a stop sign the other day.

LEO didn't give a second look to the GG sitting on the passenger seat.

I can't say the same about the HG on my side.

After a quick check of my DL, LTCH, and a written warning I was on my way.

He never did ask any questions about the PV and was very cordial and nice even while securing my handgun.

Maybe they are being educated in what to look for concerning E-cigs now??

We stay in the same hotel every time we go visit my son at college. The first few visits we had reserved smoking rooms because we still smoked at the time. After I quit and started vaping I was asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking and I said it didn't matter. The guy questioned me three times on that and asked me if I realized there would be a $175 charge if I smoke in a non-smoking room (obviously had me in their files as a smoker)? I said OK. I'll take a non-smoking room. They were none the wiser after I vaped for two days in the room. Never received a $175 bill either.

I've done that too! Just the other night in the movie theater. Stealth vaping rocks...except for that eGo-T button with a light! I need to think of some way to cover that for vaping in the dark.
