Oh Gaaawd, I hate to post this, but I must.
zen~, don't yell at me! I did something really stupid. Something I thought could happen before I did it, but took the chance it wouldn't. Stupid move on my part.
I have little magnets, 1/10" x 1/32" and was using one on the switch screw, but then started using my Noalox on the switch screw, so I moved the magnet to the battery tip. It worked great, but it is the PERFECT size to sit snugly in the allen head bolt socket, is lodged in the socket of the bolt and I cannot get it out.
I stacked all the same size magnets I have to see if they could pull it out, but it's lodged in the socket too tightly. I've tried a pointed knife, a dental pick, needle nose pliers...but the magnet is almost flush with the top of the bolt head....which kind of defeats the purpose of it.
Is this going to hurt anything? I don't have to worry about losing that magnet anymore, that's for sure.
Any ideas on how to get it out? I have some 1/2" spacer magnets coming and thought I would try using those. I also have some 1/4" x 1" earth magnets coming that I can make a rod with and use those to see if they're strong enough to pull it out of the bolt head.
Should I worry about that magnet being in there? Is there a way to get it out? Any tips?
Okay...I'm ready for my lashing. I'll be in the corner waiting.
