That is a list for a titanium standard Zenesis. I think it is $250 down and $250 when it's done. They're going to be gorgeous!

That would be doable but I need visual stimulation. Its a bit more and just thinking about what it looks like is not doing it for me.

Does the aluminum play well with juice sitting in there for a good amount of time? Will there be "oxidation" in the tank?

That's not going to be debated here... anodized aluminum and juice is a polarizing subject. We have SS PVs available if you're concerned about Aluminum in contact with juice...

To my knowledge, the Original 5 have not had oxidation issues... and I have the prototype which has never had issues... your juice and experience may vary.

There are LOTS of Aluminum tanks in the world... Most are anodized, and like I said, this isn't the place to decide on the safety of this material and I'm not making any material safety statements regarding it's use.

I will say Anodized Aluminum is safer than Low Grade Stainless steel which can contain lead... and people have gone BONKERS for many Tanks and PVs using the LOWEST grade of Stainless available.

But we're not going to go there either.

Well, The engineering on the Darwin Z-atty is tricky... It's not on the front burner, but it IS being worked on.

I'm having a problem with my Mini.

I can't keep juice in this thing. Every time I turn around, the tank is empty and I have to fill it up again. I checked the tank, the top cap, fill holes. I can't figure out where it's going. It has to go somewhere, right? It's not like it just disappears.

I think the cat may be vaping my Zenesis.

I'm having the same problem -- must be my coonhound, right? ;)

I understand that... look at a standard... then pretend it's Titanium!

The first one to exist will be in My hands in a few weeks, but it won't have the finish on it.

I could have purchased a really nice used car for what it cost me to produce 25 Titanium PVs... A prototype on top of that was out of the question.

As a GG fanboy I have unique knowledge of this through my use of the AVS system.....yes, there would be oxidation eventually if, and only if, you let the juice sit in there for an indefinite period. There was never a problem with frequent use, washing and refilling were never an issue as far as any juice discoloration or what have you.....:2c:

only bad thing bout aluminium is the myth/truth that aluminium causes an increased chance at alsheimers(i know that is wrong spelling:confused:)

Here's the problem with that...

Once again people have a knee jerk reaction with no real understanding of what they are talking about... And it's too easy to magpie what people THINK they have heard.

1: A Symptom of Alzheimer's is a concentration of Aluminum in the brain... and this aluminum is the aluminum that is ALREADY FOUND in your body anyway! There is NO LINK to aluminum EXPOSURE that causes the disease... only that once you have the disease, that's where the aluminum goes... it is largely believed that Alzheimer's disease is genetic.

2: In any case, aluminum isn't easy to avoid. Lots of people have dumped their aluminum cookware without too much trouble, but you'll find aluminum is also contained in many common antacids and antiperspirants. The brand I use contains aluminum chloride and aluminum chlorhydrate. But it gets worse... aluminum is added to many municipal water supplies to help remove floating debris. Aluminum is also found in household baking powder, self-rising flour, cake mix, pancake batter, and frozen dough. It's also found in nondairy creamers, table salt, and other powdered foods and in processed cheese.

If you're lucky enough to need a hemorrhoid preparations, these are as high as 50% aluminum hydroxide.

Basically, Aluminum is EVERYWHERE... If you want to avoid aluminum, shoot yourself in the head... it's the only way...

Walk through the grocery store... cookie sheets, disposable casserole pans, cupcake "tins", pie pans... you'll never avoid it!

And even if you did... a genetic predisposition for Alzheimer's is what will ultimately be the deciding factor.

If this thread turns into a discussion about aluminum safety I'll just scrap the idea, so it's up to you guys.
