Do the shipping notices go out tomorrow for the last of the March group?
I think so. I think that's what I heard.Do the shipping notices go out tomorrow for the last of the March group?
My main suggestions ...
1 do it over a tin or metal baking sheet so if the strong magnets decide to take off looking for metal youve already gave them some close by ( and the meal pulls alil of the force outta them )
2 they need to be in there opposing ( so the push away from each other)
3 if you can get them to come outta the housings - use a thickish piece of steel (stronger pull then the housings)
4 Clean everything very well and put a tiny bit of noalox on everything then wipe it out with paper towel (this should leave a tiny film of it on the housings magnets and screw)
5 put magnets in the housings so the force is pushing them away from each other put switch halfs back together compress them down and star the screw threads with your fingers then tighten with screw diver
6 if throw is to far or not making contact cut a tiny piece of oring to drop down in screw hole like zen suggested whitch will hold screw up alil higher
Random question: Every person I've seen using a Zen~ device on Youtube has tilted the pv up. Is this needed so the liquid wicks properly, or will they perform sitting vertical like you would expect? Cause if not, that would get extremely annoying tilting it up just to get the wick wet closer to where its going thru the hole.
Hmm I also decided to test the strength of the quartz today....
It did not pass test from 4 foot fall onto concrete. Cracked right in half. No worries though. I have a spare..
This was only the second mod I have ever dropped (the other being a wood mod). Kinda ...... I dropped it. Now I have an ugly scratch on my bottom button grrrr
While my coil and wick were breaking in I did hold it up so that the wick would be saturated... I guess I just got used to tilting it a bit because now, I notice I do it every time - it's not uncomfortable... in fact, it feels natural now. But, it is not necessary once your Zenesis is broken in and wicking properly.

Which one did you drop? the mini?
1. OK, I watched the video. It was for a Standard having problems with the 1600 batteries. I am using 2000mah batteries in the Standard so that's not the problem, I don't think, but should I take the Standard switch apart and reverse the magnets anyway?
2. My main problem is with the Mini. I took it apart and I have a small washer under the screw head that was not in the video. Is that an original part or was it added by the original owner?
3. In the Mini, I have 2 magnets, one smaller than the other. Because I was expecting them to be the same size, I did not notice which one was on the bottom.....Does it matter when I go to put the switch back together? The magnets are the same diameter, but one is thicker than the other........
That is as far as I have gotten. I will wait until I hear from you about which size magnet goes on the bottom first, or if it makes any difference.
I had a hell of a time getting the magnets apart, even sliding them so don't want to have to do it again.......LOL
Thanks.
