So get your taxes in today Zenfidels so you can get those refunds back. Then you can buy more Zenesi and Z-Atty's.

Sorry for the ones who have to pay.

Tell me about it! I got my refund money burning a hole in my pocket! Just waiting for a SS mini to go on sale...

Be careful... CF is considered a hazardous material when it's in nano form... it can get right into your bloodstream... and besides that, the splinters are a real MUTHA!

Yeah, I wanted to cut it without dust so I tried a pipe cutter on a whim (this was before I really did any research...because I'm a man and screw instructions I don't need that crap!). Note: that doesn't flippin' work....at all. It delaminated and viola! CF splinter.

Just an FYI Zen, don't mean for ya to work any harder or anything, but today is tax day so most PO are open till midnight.

Using my online postage system, I can only ship from the PO that's next to my office and they are a "Postal Convenience Center"... They close at 5PM, even on Tax Day!

Oh, I ended up receiving my Black Ice from the VW contest like 6 days after they said it was delivered. It's amazing to say the least. And standard #6600 (heh) is a vaping machine :D Well done my good man. I want to be just like you when I grow up! :toast:

My first 24 hours with the Zenesis Standard

So far it's working very well. The flavor is funky but seems to be getting slightly better. It's funky enough that I'm using both my MonkeyBoxx VV and the Zenesis. No matter how much I saturate the atty, the funky flavor keeps coming back...it's good right after dripping but returns to funkiness after 5-6 draws. After a few hits I find my self picking up the box for a few good, clean hits and I let the Zenesis sit at an angle to resaturate the wick. Of course, I have not read this whole thread but I don't hear much about funky flavor syndrome. Once this tank runs out, I'll switch to a different ejuice to see how that tastes. I'm really hoping the Zenesis settles into a "normal" kind of flavor production.

I stopped at the hardware store today after work. I was hitting the Zenesis and realized the switch was coming loose. Yep, sure enough, the switch screw had worked itself loose over the corse of the day. I stopped at the hardware store to grab some Locktite for that screw and set the Zenesis into my truck console. After 5-10 I returned to that dreaded funky, burning atomizer smell. CRAP! Apparently the loose switch combined with the way I put into my console had caused it to keep firing the WHOLE TIME I was in the store. I felt the cap and it was extremely HOT.

When I got home, I took off the switch and BING...the magnet and washer assembly came out and it all stuck together. OK, I thought WTF, I have no clue how this originally was put together. After a few minutes of fighting the RE magnet and washers (they are a btch), I finally got the correct configuration (I think, hey, it works). I put a VERY TINY drop of Locktite on the screw and put it all back together.

Next, I examined the wick/coil assembly....fearing the worst after a nearly 10 minute dry burn. HOLY SNIKIES! It was all fine and fired just like nothing had ever happened! I dripped the wick, took a hit, COOL.....it's all good! All coils glow and it tasted fine. That would have KILLED a commercial atty DEAD. At minimum, this would have produced several rank hits as the atty settled back in. This atty is TOUGH as nails!!!

So far, my only real compaint is the feed system and I use about 85% PG juice. It just doesn't seem to feed enough juice into the atty. I'm used to a very thick, rich hit from my other PV's that allow me to control the feed manually with a bottle squeeze. Today I gave serious thought to changing over to a polypropylene tank so I can force-feed the atty. And, before anyone suggests anything, I am vaping this coil down, either parallel to the ground or at a slight angle past horizontal. I'm acutally used to that technique with my Phidias.

One thing I think Zen should include is an operators manual of some sort. While it's not an over-complex device, an exploded view would be quite handy for us noobs. Also, while obvious to some, something as elementary as the battery direction should be indicated somewhere. Just a little instruction sheet would certainly be nice.

I recommend trying a five wrap coil. That's a pefect vape with great flavor.

Well... we have a weeeeee bit of a snag....

My credit card processor has shut down my eCommerce while they "investigate the possibility of fraud, due to sudden and unexpected high volume".

ALL FUNDS ARE ON HOLD...

That means shipping is at my risk, because I will not see the money until it releases at the end of the investigation.

But I am confident that it will release EVENTUALLY, so I AM shipping about 80% of the remaining Marchies today, the balance go tomorrow.

Some of you with parts and accessories orders will be shipped tomorrow as well.

I was up til 4AM packing, and didn't finish because I literally fell asleep.

Look for shipping numbers late this afternoon.

In the meantime NOTHING can be purchased on the site.

In the merry merry month of may, I was taken bye suprise, by a pair of rougeish eyes. In the merry merry month of may.......... congrats zen~, Jim
