Bad connections are definitely, 100%, without a doubt the issue you are having. In contrast, if I hold mine straight up after the wick is good and wet and hold the button, my 3/4 wrap will glow bright within 5-6 seconds and then light the juice on fire. Everyone's APV should be performing at this level.

You would think that this would burn up,your juice and kill your batteries, but the opposite is true. If your coil gets really hot really fast, you end up having the button pressed for shorter amounts of time and in this shorter time you make larger amounts of more flavorful vapor. The juice is vaporized properly and quickly so it does not burn up and turn dark due to over-cooked residual draining back done the wick. The battery is also actually not working as hard when things work like this because it does not have to overcome all of the additional resistance built up in the various connections and so the load is only what is presented by the coil.

In my tips and tricks thread (thanks ob) the first post is the complete method to cleaning a Zenesis with my mini as the test subject. Follow that and you should have a bona-fide steam machine in about 20-30 minutes :)

Looks like the old Mini gets a bath tomorrow!

Everyone retiring relatively early?

That Black Ti is..., gorgeous! Wish I could afford to bid for it but no can do. I can, however, donate, & will do so. And I can definitely try for the Tini on VW.

Oooh, so much to wish for, so much better to give for....

Funny how life seems to work, the more you give of yourself freely, the more you receive. :D

Maybe it's time for YOU to think of somebody other than yourself!

When I have repeatedly BEGGED people to not send me requests for availability information for these things, I am under absolutely NO obligation to respond. Most vendors that get written off for the same "behavior" aren't dealing with this sort of stuff... with 400-750 PMs and emails a day... I don't answer more than about 10% of them because the answers are available in the usual places, like the Zen Alerts thread...

So You got to me through Kcos... and before anybody else thinks that's the clever way to get my attention, it's a bad idea. If people start pumping her for information I'll remove you from the list.

And while we're on the subject of disappointment... ya know what disappoints me?

When people post negativity about my behavior when they can't even keep track of which list they are on.

You are on the APRIL list, and the notifications have not gone out for that yet.

I spent the entire weekend building, with a couple hours out to visit my dad on fathers day. Yesterday and today I shipped just over 100 packages.

I cannot POSSIBLY do the the next notifications until I get caught up.
So that's my answer regarding my "behavior"... what's your excuse?

I will now return to packing and shipping while you all enjoy your evenings.

Since you are about setting the record straight, lets get this one right. I am not a subversive individual and I did not ask Karen to get in touch with you. She first messaged me and said I should give you a call, then in the next message she offered to convey my question to you.

I lead a very busy professional life. 45+ hours a week full time job with a successful IT Consulting side business which demands way more of my time than it should. I am sympathetic to your situation.

I have not resorted to name calling or pigeonholing someone as an impatient self absorbed individual which it appears you have labeled me as.

Signing up for a Z-AttyG via the old website did not result in any type of information on what (Month) list I was on, so your incredulity as to why I can't remember what list I'm on seems strange.

Truth be told, I vape because I need the nicotine and enjoy it as a hobby. I like the people I've met at the various fests, I enjoy using a variety of Genesis style devices and discussing them with like minded individuals.

I'm not aware of your personal situation in regards to massive PM's and e-mails so when you tell me here and in the other thread that you've "Had About Enough"... Well it just seems like kick the cat...

You have a ticket system on your website with a selectable sales inquiry section. FWIW I went to this thread first and asked questions about the z atty every few weeks, then followed the zen alerts thread. Most of my questions either were unanswered or lost in the general chit chat.

I apologize if my earlier posts seemed accusatory. I've heard others in this thread mourn the fact that they've been unable to get a response from you and several of them had questions about issues with their devices etc. it was not simply those seeking a Zenesis device.

I think sometimes people are loathe to voice any differing opinions for fear of dogpiling or being labelled a Troll. I'm not a Drama Llama Mike and I don't want to tick anyone off.

Truth be told, with the benefit for Twygg going on right now I was hesitant to even post a response since this seems so trivial compared to what is going on in his life but I do want to get this out there.

I don't want to assume anything more about you but I would venture that as an engineer you prefer to design, build and communicate and troubleshoot with others who enjoy your devices and not want to have to worry about the administration and correspondence required with the sales side of things.

I'm sorry if what I've said has rubbed you the wrong way and it was truly unfair of me to compare HoH (part time manufacturer) with COV (full time vendor) for that I apologize and hope you will forgive me.
