That's garbage. Grow some gazungas and use the classies or don't sell it at all.

Burzynski, the Movie -- all I can say is we all love to dream and hope and believe there is a shortcut; no there isn't.

Last coil I made WORKED. I realized that one problem was that the bottom coil and/or the top coil had portions that weren't touching the wick at all, and maybe that's why they were acting up.

The problem is that the wire broke off the at bottom screw. It still has a weird kink / turn there and this time I fastened that screw loosely and after it worked it came out and I can't put it back around the screw. Doesn't matter. I got proof of concept that it can work. Trolololoooooooolooooo.

Worked - all coils dark and vapor coming out and just a hint of "hot metal" smell, no toxic fumes at all. Weird...

Dry burn - everything appears to glow in unison.
Wet burn - top and/or bottom glow.

Worst of all, this thing emits fumes that feel very noxious - they burn my nose and eyes, and have a scent reminiscent of... formaldehyde!

Some issues -

  [*]most of the times, following Zen's video, I end up with a sharp turn / kink in the Kanthal wire at the base screw - does it have to do with anything?
  
  
• There is either too much tension in the bottom lead wire, or it's too slack and touches the base. Honestly, I don't see any harm in it touching the base - that's where the negative contact is made anyway, but still...
  
  [*]I see videos and I see the top and bottom leads don't glow on people's coils when they wet burn. But in my mind, I can't see why they wouldn't glow - they can't possibly stay wet with liquid... Or.. if it's a heat being dissipated in the whole wire / mesh thing, how come they always glow on my coils? I'm getting very tired of thinking about this...
