I eventually made it back into the house once they reopened the main road. A police officer even gave me an escort to my house. Was able to grab the cats, important docs, clothing,and a handful of vaping supplies (in that order). Staying with family...
Now that I know the cats are safe, it can all burn. Isn't that why God invented insurance?

All is well, but K-Man is missing I hope he is not in a nic coma - I know I am tittering on the brink of it, but I just can't put my Zenesis down. That's why I am so hyperalert at the same time. Good times.

I'm so glad to hear that. One of my cats is missing. She's never been outside and somehow the back door popped open last night...they all got out. She is my most frightened and skittish. I just hope she comes back

Oh no! I'm so sorry Emma, I hope you find her soon. Did you check under the house? She may be hiding out somewhere nearby. My cat is very skittish too, not with me but with everyone else. He even has seizures when under extreme stress
