no grease used. I activated the unit even without the switch to eliminate if there are switch problems by making contact to the body and the negative post of the battery, just sparks appear and the battery get's very hot. I stop, now trying to get hold of Mike to see if I can return it to him. It will be a long journey....going back from Europa....
It's close to the same distance as Titan...;)
Those elliptical orbits are something else!

About the batteries issue at emonty. Noone got to be scared of a exploding device in that case.
Read a lot last night and there are few few points you have to know. Every Case with exploding devices in the past was with stacked batteries (2 unprotected ICR) and systems without a way to let out the gas. I will let you know what our experts in germany says about.

There most used battieries for vaping are
ICR (Lithium-Cobalt / Li-Co) unprotected (here is the declaration important)
ICR (Lithium-Cobalt / Li-Co) protected (here is the declaration important)
IMR ("Lithium-Mangan / Li-Mn") unprotected (chemistry inside is almost safe)
IMR ("Li-Ni-Co-Mn Mixchemistry") unprotected (chemistry inside is almost safe)

If your Device got no electronic for protection it's recommended to use protected batteries. I use for my devices
IMR batteries, they are unprotected but the chemistry inside is almost safe. If a IMR batteries got a short it will produce heat like in emontys case, but not explode. AW batteries are good quality, also the Panasonic CGR18650CH and the expert told me for us custumers that the

Tenergy Protected 18650 2600mAh

are a good choise and good to get. The batteries they prefer are well tested, with grapfics, special chargers...
So nobody got to be scared. Use protected oder IMR batteries, be carfull with magnets (not too small better use magnets around 3mm x 1mm or 4mm x 1mm)

If someone stacks batteries in a device pls inform yourself before. Don't forget a Zenesis is not for stacking batteries.
Protected or IMR, no other choice!

haha
good morning i forgot to say. Thanks at SabbelMR sharing so much informations to the community about the batteries.
he got a low frequented Tread here at ECF, but really i don't know a guy that is more competent around batteries than him.

For everyone who is intressed:

Hi ev1

Hi emonty, i don't have a Zenesis yet but i can feel your pain. Had to send back a Provari 1 year ago at a time i only had an ego-T as backup... that was terrible. But i'm sure you got better stuff as backup now ;)

@Zen~ my order AB1041 from midnight sale is processing since 6/13. I know your time is precious but i'd love to get an update from you just to know if it has shipped or not coz in case it has shipped it might be blocked by customs and i'll have to contact them.
Concerning distributors i'll give my vote to C9V too. Lisa rocks !

@ASH hope you're doin well. Thinking of you everyday when i see TV news about Syria. Really hope all this %$#§ is gonna end soon.

For what.its worth last update we saw from Zen he had yet to send out the remainder of them. I am assumint that.zens emergency trip and.the 50 or so packages in his truck must have included some of the.minis as I haven't recieved mine yet either. Again this is my assumption but otherwise have no idea.

the wick is not touching the center post screw head, I had the top on, vaping, did not change anything.
magnets are no issue, they are fine, it is that plastic insulator in the switch that has melted.

If you can get the switch screw out, could you use a Dremel to round the edge of the delrin back so the switch will function again?
