So here's where I'm going to do my best to keep my cool... because the passive aggressive nature of your your question is framed around a premise that isn't entirely true.

It's unfair to say I offer neither... I had lists... those are no more. I DO HAVE product notifications on the site, and when I use them 500-600 people attack the site and crash it. When they crash it they scream at me, and even worse, the site messes up the transactions.

I'm right here between this big rock and this really hard place. No matter what I do, SOMEBODY will get angry at me for not doing it some other way.

They say "you can't please all the people all the time" but lately, I can't please anybody ever, and pointed questions about "how do I buy one" are just the tip of the iceberg.

But to answer your question, for fear of sounding condescending, you purchase it just like any other product... you wait until they are available and you buy one.

I guess you're asking for a way to cut corners, but there simply aren't any shortcuts. There are no guarantees and if there were, the folks that have been following this thread since January and still don't have one yet would more than likely come ahead of a person that is more or less new to the thread.

I don't really have a better answer than the obvious one.

I KNOW the demand is high, and I am working hard to deliver as many as I can. I have a full time job PLUS this PV business, and if you wish for it to be different, then feel free to do so, but I'm doing the best I can.

Do I need to post Rick Nelson's Garden Party again? ;)

You know you can't win, just roll with it and ignore the darts....:D

I have3 cleaned my switch twice now with rubbing alcohol and have not used anything to help like no-alox or no-ox-id. I mentioned that I have also tried to bend the switch to the side while pressing inward in the recomended way and with both hands.

It's a simple switch with one moving part... if it's clean and it's actuated correctly... it will fire.

Every time.

People with switch problems are free to return it for a refund.

I simply cannot replicate this problem in my hand.

ALL mechanical PVs suffer from the same issue... the switch has to be clean and correctly pushed to function.

I'm going to dig in my heels on this because the Zen-bashing over the switch issue has got to be curtailed.

I just can't make it fail... I have tried.

Have you used any sandpaper on the switch screw? Just massage the head real good and it may surprise you what that will do, there is also the No-Ox-ID A-Special conductive grease that many are using on their heads to get it to take off, you should do both. :p

NO... Do NOT use contact enhancer...

How many people in this thread have purchased no-ox-id???? If there was no situation with the switch or it was only a few like "12" then why is no-ox-id so popular??? I am sorry Mike, but there are more than 12 with this situation, I did not say problem, as I am sure there will be a fix eventually.

EDIT: I am not bashing, and love this device. I just wish it would work for me.

Zen~,

Please do not think I am 'bashing' - far from it. And I never said many have had the issue, I only know that I have. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong & I WILL figure out what it is.

What I want for you to remember most from me is that I love the Mini enough to use it when I am unable to get it operating as it should. And I want for you to remember I don't want it to leave my hands long enough for you to look at it. I have a BAM coming, too, & if I haven't resolved my issue by then, I hope it'll help me troubleshoot - even though I know it's got the spring (which I plan to replace with the magnets).

Anyway, I'll not bring my very unique issue up on the thread again - I'll follow my planned trouble-shooting steps & if they fail, I'll get in touch with you privately.

I have the utmost respect and admiration for both you & your products. And I don't care who thinks I'm sucking up - I tell the truth about what I feel.
