I would probably start with something slightly tobaccoey. I started by buying RY4, tobacco, but slight sweet with caramel notes (KBV RY4 was my first all day vape, and I still go back to it sometimes, it's mostly caramel/vanilla though). Then just get a variety, a fruit flavor perhaps, something subtle. Altcig makes a fantastic peach liquid. BWB mango was good too. Get a dessert flavor, like a cake/blueberry cinnamon, a vanilla/caramel/coffee flavor. A menthol.

It's impossible to predict what he'll like. So, perhaps a sampler pack or two from various vendors. Just make sure you say, hey if you don't like any of these then don't give up, there's so many other options.

My thoughts exactly. RY4 is still my all day vape. Everyone I've started with a kit loves the ry4 then branches out from there. Ian is right. It's a safe place to start. That and the fact that newbies have anxiety about something not feeling or tasting like a smoke when they first start.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I hope you guys can help...

I am putting together a starter kit for someone who never vaped. I decided on the ego form factor, haven't fixed in all the details yet... KGOs, or some passthroughs or Twists, I donno... But I was wondering about juice...

My juice tastes have moved so far away from anything recognizable as 'smoking' that I'm afraid I have no clue what he could possibly like... I mean I mostly do peach, cherry, *-berry, blueberry cinnamon and lately my ADV is "cherry-berry-menthol with a twist of Pluid". I'm sure nothing like this would cut it for him in the beginning... What juice should I include? Any thoughts?


These days, it just feels weird, though, to recommend cartos and clearos to someone, but I do understand that RBAs are not a gret introductory device...

If you're going for eGo's, give them some Stardusts. They are really easy to fill and clean, nothing complicated.

When I started out, I really didn't care for any of the tobacco flavors. They really don't taste like a stinky, no matter how hard they try. The first flavor to knock my socks off was Mad Vapes' Hawaiian Delight. Wow, it was just so different!

I like Ian's idea of getting them a couple different samplers, you never know what someone else is going to like.

YOUR RIGHT. I've been saving up cereal box tops for when the next production batch would be announced but nothing. I'm on this thread searching the thousands of pages of posts and near 80,000 "likes" but no explanation as to what, when or god forbid "IF". I'm intimidated by all the vaping gods on this thread and wonder if I have got to reach a certain number of posts or time vaping or learn a secret handshake. Not to be disrespectful but it would be nice if we were allowed to understand when we might be able to throw our selves prostate (the position not the gland)on the altar of OB to become proud and grateful owners of a ZEN.

Within a month or so there will be available more Zen's than you could imagine. And the juices are Zen's recipes but they are not sold by him. They are made and sold by Bombay

LOL. No need for clarification of your meaning actually, had you only used the correct term. The position is "prostrate".
