They all glowed evenly when I pulsed it dry. When I splooged the juice (he didn't send the juice splooger either...that was a near trauma) It hit nicely a couple of times, then blech...burny, my tongue, my throat. I have to get away from it until my mouth feels better..LOL.
Wicking issue tip up and press the switch on and off, these things are powerful if the wick does not stay wet it will BURN!....JUST VAPE IT!

Aww, MissEmma... sounds like the same problem I had... I just kept making coils until I got it, but it's hard for me to explain... The top coil will glow especially if the wicking is insufficient... but it will also glow if (1) it's too loose on the wick or (2) has a short or (3) the top lead tugs too hard on it (I'm not sure why), or (4) if there is to much lead wire between it and the positive post...

So, for me, apart from using the rolling paper, the main issues were to get the top of the wick as close to the center post as possible without it touching the post, making sure the top coil is even with the rest, not tugged upward by the lead, and making sure that it completely touches the wick and it doesn't float in air... While the top coil glowed, the taste was horrible and the throat hit harsh.

I've been playing with the coils. Not too much. It's better now, but not consistently so. I'm fine with things the way they are. I just keep on vaping and it will get better :) I'm oddly not as frustrated as I was afraid. I'm glad she's here..

you still liking the AYS, Ed?
crazy, i was getting this crazy hit from my Ti making me cough like crazy.. thought i had a short.. loosened the screws to change the coil while unwrapping the coil the wick and insulator came out together so i said screw it rinse it all. Couldnt get the insulator off the wick. A lil bit had melted.. when i finally got the insulator off the wick was unusable. Got a new one slid it in the insulator, slide them in together but made sure to push the insulator down a lil more so that none of it was exposed, wrapped a coil.. AH YEA back to vaping BLISS! yum yum! KBV Rice Krispy Treat
