elf, that was such a complex post and then ya ended it with "anyway whatever" that cracks me up what you said sounds like Peter Levine's theory

I ended it like that because I remembered that I recently threw away a lot of my personal understanding in this field, and I am yet to build another one - work in progress, the field keeps changing. I'm still lost in the details of the default mode network and some newer fMRI findings and I have no time to read the papers

It is reminiscent of Levine because there must have been some of his work somewhere in my readings way back when as far as I recall...
