Try it with an insulator. We're trying to troubleshoot the problem, and the best way to do that is to revert the device to the condition in which it was designed to operate.

I'm gonna kill my anodizer.... The answer to your question is, I don't know, and I'm pretty much done making a fool of myself by passing on more information that doesn't come to pass. I've been dealing with anodizers for two months, and I'm really picky about the craftsmanship of the finish. These should have been shipped on time... but the delays in finishing have been really frustrating.

The fill hole acts as a vent to let the wick properly stay constant with juice. You could always break off a piece of toothpick and stick it in the fill hole, that might help some, just make sure you remove it before vaping or you might end up with a dried up wick, just an opinion. Let me know how that works

So,,,,, I managed to wrap a slightly better coil. It looks like hell, but it's vaping better. Damn all of you that make it look so easy.
Anybody have any pointers? I have a bucket of water that spills out when I lay it on it's side... has anybody found a way to make this not happen?
