Should I try to trade my Standard for a Caravela/ZAU combo?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

Rumors abound about you doing some price gouging on Z-attys recently... what's the story with that?

Do people have it in for you, or is there some truth to it?

Sent from my workshop using in your face-a-talk

OK, so I still am getting an anemic vape, and I tried what Mr White said. So I'm gonna replace the wick and coils, but wanted to know how many wraps should I use. I know I shouldn't talk about ohms and volts and such, but I'm gonna :p I like my provari at 4.0-4.2 volts on a 3.0-2.4 Ohm carto. So how many wraps should I put on my wick?

The coil needs adjusting... not replacement. If you replace you're delaying the break-in process... the MOST satified users of these device learn how to adjust coils instead of tossing them... I have NEVER encountered coil that couldn't be adjusted.

Lo And Behold... I no longer have to grind the crap outta the switch to get a strong enough connection to get a full hit!!! Apparently, "minor shorts" DO count! :p:p:p

Yet some folks INSIST that no insulator is needed.... Oxidation is NOT insulation... it's resistance.

He was vaping a teaberry.... then he tried my Kick Bass Vapor root beer and asked if he could keep it. That's a juice I wouldn't give up for just anyone.... but for Zen... I did. (Not without knowing I had a tracking number for a new bottle that very morning though. LOL)

It was bold of me to ask... and generous of you to acquiesce... and it's all gone... and it was yummy! Thanks again!

Wetting a wick til it splooges is my therapy. :pervy:

And you didn't tell me about that at Rats WHY?

Make sure the tip of the wick isn't pinched closed. Otherwise just vape it, it'll start wicking better once it gets seasoned properly.

Ah... yeah... actually... I recommend pinching the wick closed... keeps the juice in contact with the coil better and REALLY helps with the juice leaking out while on it's side issue.

Don't remove the large magnet on the bottom.

High: Both small magnets on the top.
Medium: One small magnet on the top, the other on the bottom.
Low: Remove 1 of the small magnets entirely.

And for clarification... remove the MIDDLE magnet for low tension.... if you remove the top one it will have ZERO tension.

On another note, my $400 box lathe tooling/accessories should be at my door friday:toast:...gonna start slow with some drip tips, table top mod holders, and maybe some chess pieces before I go for the gold and actually attempt to make a genny. Crazy how much info there is to intake on machining on a lathe:ohmy: What have I got myself into:laugh:

A great new hobby!

I got to meet up with a fellow vaper in my town( not many ECF members around my neck of the woods) anyway he was very interested in checking out my mini so we meet up for lunch and I literally had to pry it from his hands. Tried to pull the oll " let me borrow it for a few days, I'll let you use any of my devices". I felt sorta bad but not really when I told him hell no lol.
We swaped some juces also, just so happens he had some...... Plud? Pluid? Anyway really like it, I have to say I like my juice like I like my women

Pooladdict, I may not be the right person to answer this....but I do have a ZAU. It's my only ZEN and I love it. Not having others for comparison, I can only tell you that I love the draw on my ZAU. I don't think it's too "airy" at all! But I like good TH....and I get that.

I'm still learning to adjust different things and keep it clean. My coils look a little "weird", but I'm getting better at that too. I wouldn't trade my ZAU for nothing! I'm just sayin....

Good luck :)

evening everyone! been awhile since Ive been in here...Im lurking quietly tho:D
A guy in the classies is wanting to trade his zau because he doesnt like the open draw...I asked if he ever tried the stiff draw cap and that I have one Id sell him since Im currently zenless and cant really use it. Really not sure how the draw would drive someone to want to get rid of such a masterpiece. I got another pm offering to buy it, but I really dont wanna sell it, was just trying to help out a zenfidel from making a grave mistake. I cant really comment on the open draw as Ive never tried a Zenesis, but is it really that airy?
