OK, more questions... lol

The top 2 coils seem to be getting a little bit of build up, but the other ones look almost new. Is something not working properly, or is this normal behavior?

I don't think it's quite time, but, what is the best way to clean the coil? I've seen posts about dry burns. Anyone have step by step instructions, or a link to info that has been posted already about cleaning the coils?

Syringe out the juice in the tank. Pulse the switch until all the coils are glowing. Quench with distilled water, repeat a couple times. Refill and just vape it! :)

The top two may be a little looser than the rest but it's just gunking up and gunk is good as it prevents shorts and hot spots.

Some clean some don't. I dry burn before refilling an empty tank or changing juice. Just hold the APV vertical and pulse till all coils glow evenly. Some clean by dry burning on an empty tank and then after glowing hot hitting the coils with water, I prefer distilled water so no crud residue from the water will stay in the mesh. (ever boil tap water dry in a pot, ever notice the white crap that stays in the pot?)

This is what I do... With an empty tank, holding the PV upright, with a less than fully charged battery, I hold the swirch closed until the coils are glowing red, and the thing has stopped popping and sizzling. Then while holding the switch down, I run just a few drops of water over the wick/coil. Then I lightly dry with a paper towel, and dry burn further to dry the water out of the wick. Then prime the wick, splooge, and vape on, brutha.

Sounds easy enough. Thanks guys! :2cool::thumbs:

So jealous of you ob, my Caravela keeps looking at me with such disgust, I need to locate a ZAU before my Caravela comes after me while I sleep.

Congratz on your first of 20 ob.

I joined the zenfidel group the first day I got mine lol

Poked around in there a bit but didn't see anything about cleaning. Just checked again and realized there are multiple pages  need to dig around some more.

Hey there Jen.

After all the hype over KBV Rootbeer, I ordered a bottle. I usually let new juice sit for a week or so just to make sure I taste it as the maker intended but you guys have me wanting to fill and vape right away.

Must resist.....

I vape all my KBV stuff right out of the package. I try to wait... but I just can't do it.
